So my daughter is 4 and in pre-school. I bought this hoping it would be good and it really is. The cards all have 3 or 4 letter words and the cubes are big enough for her to handle and do herself. While she can't spell all the words yet this is a gift we can use for multiple years with letter identification, then word spelling and identifying the picture and sounds that go with that picture. This came in a cute little box that is easy for packing up and taking with you somewhere. I would think this is a great gift for any kids ages 4-7.

My son loves this one. Learned many words using it. Good quality. The pictures for a few could be closer to real photos.

This is a good quality game for a younger elementary child. I bought it for my daughter and we played it together and had fun. my only problem with it was that sometimes you would start to spell a word with the dice and use a die that has one of the letters you need and so you can't complete the word with the dice you have. so I had to get out my own letter dice from another game so we could spell out the words.

It is a future gift. However, since there is a younger child in that household, the pieces are too small and could be swallowed. Should be taken off the market until they make the pieces larger.
