Aftershave Splash (KC Atwood)

This aftershave is a premium product for its price. Alcohol free with a great light scent. Aftershaves are supposed to be that way. They're not perfumes. I have been wet shaving for almost 20 years and this product is under my essentials. Prospector has done a good job. Vintage bottle and design too.

I purchased this alongside my great fruit TOBS shaving cream. Unfortunately, due to the polar vortex, my item arrived frozen solid with busted glass. Amazon has refunded and I purchased again. Better luck next time.Got my second bottle courtesy of Amazon. Well there is little to no scent. The scent that is present is a light hint of citrus that is masked with tea tree oil.In terms of moisturizing, it does a decent job and I suspect it’s the aloe.Overall not a bad aftershave splash but you can get Thayers for less then half the price.I don’t regret buying and will add to my collection.

I was buying shaving soap and was looking for an aftershave that 1. matched up well with the scent of my soap and 2. was Prime eligible. This aftershave is great.I've been wet shaving for 4 years now and this product delivers. It is not alcohol based so there is no sting. Instead, it uses witch hazel as its astringent. It has a very light citrus orange smell with a bit of spice. It will dissipate within the hour, but for me that's perfect as it will not interfere with a cologne if you choose to use one. High quality packaging, the bottle will last you at least a year, and does what it's designed to do.

as soon as I opened the bottled it smelled sortof like lemons. not overpowering but it is very faint. I found myself having to use an excess amount just to be able to smell it on my skin. it appears clear from the pics but it has a slight yellow hue to it. I tested it out after a shave and it does have good astringent properties and no tingle or burn. I don't think it is anything special though, especially for the price.

A superb product. Hadn’t used a liquid aftershave in 20 years. Didn’t know liquids could be this good. Nice and very mild fragrance, which takes a far back seat to how good the product is. As soon as the aftershave is on, I forget that I just shaved.

Excellent aftershave for those that like a subtle natural scent.

I received one bottle as a gift and it was delivered broken. I purchased a second bottle which also was delivered broken. The box smelled great, but I was unable to use the produce. The bottom of the bottle broke off both even though they were securely wrapped in bubble rap. Since I am out the money, I will not be purchasing a third bottle.

It is clean and refreshing. As others have noted, it is not an all day cologne, it is a splash. Which is great when my 5 year old grandson over does it a bit. Highly recommend.
