If you want uniformity they might not be for you
Good for what I'm looking for but there were about 30 weird and wonky ones, just strangely shaped (small, malformed heads, one bent needle that was easily bent back into place) but they should still work just fine. The size of the glass head does tend to vary a little but that's expected. Only 3 were unusable (missing/broken pinhead), but in a pack of 500 that really doesn't matter. Colors tend to vary a little and some have swirls like they weren't mixed right so if you're looking for completely uniform color look elsewhere. (Note: the light green pictured are old and not from this order.)

These are great quality.
These are quality pins. They are strong and do not bend easily. The tips are very sharp and they have glass heads. They came in a nice storage case which was taped on three sides so that it would not come open during shipping. It snaps closed securely so you don’t have to worry about it coming open by accident. I’m very pleased with these and would not hesitate to order more if needed.

You can iron right over them!
The bad part — they are so sharp that I get prick fatigue while sewing. They prick me just by barely touching me if they are in a hem that barely touches my legs while sewing, even when wearing jeans. And they are thick and absolutely won’t bend — so they can be (1) too large for very fine fabrics; and (2) too inflexible for hard-to-pin layers. That said, it is so nice to be able to iron over them and not worry whether I have inadvertently put a plastic head in the fabric that would melt, that they are worthwhile and I’m glad I have them.

Quilter Approved
These pins are the bomb-diddly for anyone that sews. Quilters, tailors, and seamstresses all iron-pinned fabric, and these pins are perfect for that purpose. According to my wife after using them… 1 — They’re sharp and have no snaggy tips. 2 — They’re sturdy. These pins are thicker than the ‘flower head’ type pins many quilters use. 3 — They’re easy to find if you drop them on the floor because of the colored heads. 4 — They’re easier to pick up than pins that don’t have a ball head. 5 — If you happen to run them over with an iron, they won’t melt onto your iron. 6 — They come in a nice clear plastic case, which opens and closes securely. My wife said, “I don’t know why it took me so long to buy glass head sewing pins. I love these!” I hope this helps.
