This kit provided me with enough cable and attachments to make several runs to support the 250 feet of lights. I did not use the “bread ties” that come with the kit to secure the lights to the cable, and I would not recommend you doing so either. Your local hardware store will carry small packs of zip ties for $2 for roughly 30-40 zip ties. I used four packages to secure the lights. Everything in this kit is adequate, the metal attachments and wood screws provided are of good quality. The kit is simple to use and connections to start new ends are easy to start. A good pare of snips or needle nose pliers will easily cut the cable. If you’re planning on mounting into masonry, you’re going to need concrete fasteners, as this kit does not include any. We used this to hang our cafe lights from the house and through the oak trees. Works like a charm!

The quality is great, and is performing as advertised. The appearance is great, you can’t really see the coated wire strung through the trees. A very good value. It takes a little work to string the cable through the trees , but well worth it, for the strength , and stability. No sagging of the lights. It took my girlfriend and I a little over three hours to hang 200’ of lights. *** UPDATE*** I waited about a month after I installed the lights to write the review above. Well about three days after I posted the paragraph above, stating how good, and amazing this hanging system was, I had two sections of cable to break. Not sure why, but it did. I would still recommend a wire, but do better research than I did. No I am going to have to go back and replace with a stronger cable. So saying that I will reduce my rating to two stars.*** ANOTHER UPDATE*** After I thought more about the cables snapping, we had a heavy wind storm about three days to me noticing the snapped cables. So that being said I believe the wind caused the trees to sway and the pressure on the cables due to the swaying trees caused the snapping. The manufacturer reached out to me about this issue, very good customer service. Offered a refund, or replacement. But I still believe it is a wind /tree issue not a manufacturer issue. I will go back to a 4star rating.

YouTube videos explain how to use a tensioned wire to hang patio lights so they look straight and professional. I installed four 48ft strands of patio lights in my backyard using this kit. The kit came with 250 ft of wire and all the hardware I needed. My only gripe is that it only contained 100 black zip ties and I needed more.It is true that you can probably buy all these items at the big box stores but I really appreciated having everything I needed (plus a little more) come to me in one handy package.

Bought this to improve the installation of a 48' string of LED lights at our cabin. This is an amazing little kit of a LOT of parts, and a lot of steel cable. All the pieces seem to be stainless steel, and there are more than a enough to do my 48' string of lights probably 3-4 times. I suspect you could easily hang 200' of lights.The photo shows all the parts that came in the box (but the socket wrench is mine - easier to fasten the clamps). I did not use any of the "thimble" pieces, nor any of the aluminum swaging parts. The cable was easy to cut with a pair of linesman pliers.My only minor complaint is that the instructions are very sparse, and I spent a while studying the pictures to figure out what they were doing. In summary, this is a great little kit that I would absolutely buy again.

I hung my lights using cable I got from a big box store and their cable was thicker but it broke (probably defective). this cable is lighter and much stronger. The cable is also really easy to adjust. Using all the connectors you can hang the cable first then use the connectors to take the cables down to easily hang the lights on them. It was so easy and save me so much time.

It was a positive suprire I had with this product! I recomend!

Aside from box arriving damaged and a few pieces missing it works awesome. Good quality. Takes time to string properly but works very well

It was pricy but well worth it. Will recommend and buy again if adding more lights to my backyard! Used it with the lights from Costco. Another go buy!! Highly recommend. Is this with lights for sure. Never put lights up without it!!

Everything you need at a great price

Works great. More than enough supply for 2 sets of lights. If you don’t have a crimper the wrench loops work great. I set up a screwdriver socket and vice grip to hold them. Wrench works too. Definitely a must for string lights
