It was a small investment to keep me from cooking burgers. Pro tip, just spray the inside with a light coat of cooking spray and they will fall right out after you press it. Otherwise, they will stick. You can use the supplied paper sheets, but they ran out quickly.

I love making my own burger patties because I get to season them the way I like. I love that they come with the hamburger paper. It's clutch to prevent them from sticking to the mold. The burgers stick to the sidewalls a little, but I just slam it upside down onto a silicone cutting mat, which is good enough for me. If you use colder meat, I think the fat would be more solid and stick less.The molds are definitely sized for up to 1/3lb burgers, and no more. I had a little extra meat left, so I tried to make a slightly larger burger, and it was just too much for the mold.The molds are a bit smaller than the size of the patties I typically make, but when the burgers cooked, they shrunk perfectly to the size of the store bought potato buns.I wanted to avoid hinged pattie pressers because I didn't want anything to break, and keep cleaning simple. This was perfect. I just hand wash with soap and water, and it cleans easily. I would definitely purchase again, but I doubt I will need to repurchase it, since it looks pretty durable.

I love grinding up a chicken breast to make a couple chicken burgers. Have always just molded the burgers by hand. They never turn out uniform looking like an actual burger. Got tired of ugly chubby chicken burgers.This press is as simple as it gets. Put the burger paper in, slap in some ground meat and give it a firm press. What you get is the actual burger you've always dreamed of. It puts little ridges on the top and bottom of the burger. The burgers kept their shape after cooking. Perfect size for the buns. You won't have the little hockey puck burger with lots of extra bun around the sides.I highly recommend this burger press.
