It works great to hook up a backup camera to a table!

It does not work on ARM processors. This is neither the USBTV007 nor the STK1160/STK1150. The package comes with a mini-CD for the software installation. I had to use my son's workstation desktop as none of my computers even have a CD drive. Would have been nice to be able to download the setup files somewhere. The seller's website of honestech.com simply wouldn't load, like it didn't exist.I copied the files to a flash drive and went back to my computer, installed and everything seems fine. Except no matter what I do, the software doesn't recognize the USB capture card. After some extensive troubleshooting with driver/software updates, I read another review that it doesn't work with ARM processors, my desktop is an AMD Ryzen 5 (Windows 10)I pulled out my laptop which is an Intel I7 (Windows 11), I got it installed and it actually seemed like it wanted to work. I could hear audio from my source (trying to convert an old VHS tape to a digital file) but no video.The system requirements state that you have to have a minimum of a Pentium IV 2GHz or equivalent. Would have been nice to clarify that it doesn't work on AMD processors.At this point, I'm not sure if the issue is with the capture card, my VCR or my VHS tape. I've got more troubleshooting to do, but if I can get it to work then I MIGHT give 3 stars....I'm getting too old for this stuff

Took lots of figuring out to make it work but it does function as advertised. Had to purchase a separate S video cable adapter to connect to my camcorder.

WIndows would not recognize the device and the driver it comes with did not work.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy this, or any of the seemingly endless variants of it. Don't do what I did and buy it because of the cheap price, because you essentially get a paperweight that has the -potential- to capture video. Sure, it's definitely possible to set these things up, hell, I had it working for about a week, but it's just not worth it, especially when it'll probably just give up on you one day.My BF has one of these as well and his works fine, for some reason, despite it being from the same exact listing as the one I had. That being said, once you get the thing working, the quality is, uh, kind of awful and very grainy, sound is okay though.Get a different card, this one isn't worth a single penny they're charging.

The CD given with theeasy-Cap device is defective and no opening in any Computer and it is bent. I had to throw away this because unloading this software in Internet is also almost inpossible.
