Great bike, instructions are lacking.
Like the others, I did notice the instructions didn't match the bike I was assembling haha. The frame and tires are well made. Some things I ran across while putting it together that hopefully helps someone else that gets stuck and frantically searches the reviews for clues.-the front tire is hard to get in. At first I chose to loosen a screw on a brake pad, then loosened a screw on the brake wire, and while that did achieve the desired room to install the tire, it turns out all I would have needed to do is lift a catch on the brake wire. It's like a metal casing on the wire that stops it from going too far and it just lifts straight up.- the front handlebars have a guiding marker that you can line up with the holding brackets instead of trying to eye it.- if your steering is wild and doesn't seem to turn the tire at all, just tighten the screws on the handle bar brackets. (they arrive loose and may fall out during shipment as mine did.)- the left pedal screws in the opposite way than you would think. It makes sense in retrospect, since you pedal the direction that would make the threads unscrew if it were like a normal screw. This was my first time winging a bike "assembly" but the bike is sturdy and functioning and overall I'm super pleased about the purchase.

Broken on the first day
Unfortunately the gears broke the first day we had this bike. My 7 year old changed gears without pedaling before we could stop her. Now the bike clicks and catches when she rides it. So sad, we aren't sure how to fix it but it ruined the point of getting her a bike with gears. The bike itself looks great and if she hadn't done that it probably would have worked well. A little disappointed it wasn't a little more sturdy/ able to put up with a small amount of abuse. She doesn't like riding it because of the clicking and catching. Waste if money for us.

Good bike, difficult assembly
This is a great gift for my 9 year old daughter. Caution, though - the instructions included were for a different model bike and fitting the front tire was impossible. Ended up talking it to the local bike shop to be installed, which cost my $65.

Sturdy and great quality!
My child LOVES his new bike - he’s 7 and it is definitely the right size for now and will grow with him for a few years - we went with no gear shift.

Pretty easy setup, kid loves it
Other reviews are correct, the instructions that come with it are for a different bike. However, it's mostly assembled, and the remaining items: seat, front tire, handle bars, pedals, reflectors, and bell are pretty easy to install, especially if you've put together another bike before. It comes with all of the tools you need to install and adjust the bike. The most time I spent was on the brakes, which generally need adjusting out of the box anyway. I had to remove the front brake pads in order to put the front tire in.All in all, it probably took about an hour, and my kid has enjoyed riding it.

Great bike for the price.
This is a great mid range bike for price, especially if you don't use it very often an just want to be able to hike infrequently.

Poor quality and now I'm stuck with an unusable bike
Purchased this bike for my daughter as I was looking for a mountain bike that was not too heavy. Experienced problems with the derailuer and shifter within the first few days using it. The gears would not shift and the chain repeatedly fell off the gears. Reached out to the seller to request a return or replacement, as the bike was defective. The seller requested we go to a bike repair to get the issue corrected and they would pay for the fix. Bike repair found crimped defective cables and a few other issues and fixed the bike . The seller quickly refunded the repair fee. But then only 2 rides later the same issue happened and the bike will not shift at all. Contacted seller and they refunded only half of the purchase price. Now I'm stuck with an unusable bike. We have had multiple mountain bikes and kids bikes and have never experienced problems like this with the shifters or gears. Don't waste your time and money.
