Great addition to my deck!!!
The media could not be loaded. Purchased these on Prime Day for a slightly reduced price (was already considering them). My first foray into solar outdoor lighting. After 1 weeks evaluation, this seems to be a solid product. I appreciate the metal construction—I’m tired of disposable plastic junk! But sadly, I don’t think that the rechargeable battery is user-replaceable, so I guess I’ll have to wait and see how long they actually last. For now, the lights work great during CA’s Indian summer—lighting up automatically at dusk & staying on ‘til dawn (I checked...)I let them charge for 1.5 days before turning them on at dusk. They provide a nice flickering, warm glow, that bounces off the criss-crossing lattice (& the side of my house a bit). Of course the effect will never look EXACTLY like a flame/candle, but I think these lanterns do a pretty solid job—especially considering they’re solar & will come on automatically every night. I find the overall effect pleasant and soothing—unless you get too close up. Check my video for a sample & decide for yourself...Be aware of the product’s actual size (see pic for reference). They are a little smaller than I imagined, but good none the less. They are almost exactly as wide as the redwood railing on my deck—so perfect for my intended placement!Pleased with my purchase so far, and probably going to order one or two more sets soon to hang up. RECOMMENDED👍👍

Very nice lanterns with natural looking flame.
Product was shipped USPS. Arrived in good shape but I was impressed they enclosed the lanterns in a box ( one box with 2 lanterns and plenty of packing) and that box was enclosed in a crush resistant box.No assembly required. Just removed them from their boxes and pushed on "ON" button on the bottom of each lantern then sit it in full sun to charge. We have them sitting on a table in a dark corner of our outdoor sitting area. The come on as soon as it gets dark and the flame looks close to real. Really brightens the area with a cozy fireside yellow lighting. They say to let them charge in the sun for 2 days before use. We didn't. Long summer days now and 8 hours was enough to burn bright all night. We had a day of off on rain and clouds and they still burned all night and the rain didn't seem to bother them at all (IP65 rated). We've had them for a little over a week and they are working great. Well worth the cost. I would recommend these to anyone looking to add a bit of comfortable nostalgic lighting to your landscape.

Doing well after 4 months of continuous use
Received these today, and it is my fault I did not read the description carefully. These units have no glass or clear plastic "window pane's" around the unit. This means that rain and snow may be more likely to get inside the unit. Even though it states it is IP65 "water proof" (meaning it can only be 'splashed on') it could cause a failure of the unit if water penetrates the electronic workings at the bottom of the lantern. As the lantern is open, water could pool at the bottom of the "candle" area, and it appears there is no drain to allow that water to drain away from the electronics. It is large and heavier than a plastic lantern, and the light effect is quite nice. The finish is good and I did spray the entire unit with clear polyurethane to try and keep that finish bright and rust free as long as possible.A very nice flickering effect and bright enough to be seen well across our back yard.Time and weather conditions will tell if the unit will withstand the elements.Update: Now after 4 months of continuous use I am satisfied that they will do a good job. We have had several rounds of heavy rain shortly after I got them, then blistering heat and bone dry for several months. A heavy downpour (5 inches in two hours) early this week and no problems. I have ordered an additional two this evening. So far, I am impressed.

Add some sparkle to your home with TomeCare.
I love my Tomcare solar lights. In fact, I like them so much I ordered additional sets. The light shows a beautiful flickering flame. It looks like a real flame. The size of the light is perfect. You can arrange them in your front yard and it is not overpowering. The lights burn longer than other solar lights I've purchased. I can't tell you exactly how long because I fall asleep before they stop burning. Good job - thank you.
