## Description

From the Manufacturer No more wedges, chisels, or pry bars for forcing that last strip of wood flooring into place, and no more damaged hardwood either. You'll join flooring with ease and squeeze that last board in in a snap with Cepco's QuickJack flooring jack. Attached to a strong 2 by 4 for bracing, the QuickJack pushes, pulls, bends, and straightens virtually anything on the jobsite. The QuickJack is also great for pressing plywood or composite panels together, and for squeezing heavy planks together. Just slide the jack over any length 2 by 4 for bracing and wind the crank to apply just the right amount of pressure for the task at hand. The jack brackets automatically lock on to the 2 by 4.

Review: Tried it until I just tossed it away. - Tried to use it as directed and it was too cumbersome. Has lots of hydraulic force and it works as it indicated it would, so for that I rate it high in conformance quality. For performance quality, a screwed in sliding wedge was both quicker to use and better. Good quality, mediocre product.
Review: Cepco Tool QuikJack Flooring Jack - Great tool, works very well. Just used it installing 3-1/4" wide oak flooring and worked extermely well. I wish Cepco would provide a rubber/nylon protector to attach to the bottom brackets for the clamp bar. As one of the other reviews commented, the tool has some weight and can very easily damage flooring if dropped or slid. I used a low cardboard box to place the jack in to slide it across the floor while working, it prevented dinging the floor. Overall, a very good investment for putting in flooring. (I did use the wood block with a helper approach previously, this is definitely much easier!)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ a useful tool overall
*by J***L on December 24, 2015*

I just installed some 200sqft of prime 12ft heart pine boards with it, and I think it was worth the money. Even though the boards were straight, the longer they are the more difficult they are to nail down tightly. This tool will get them as tight as they can go given the imperfections of the subfloor. It is a much more versatile tool than the cheaper stuff. There are certain negative points here. If the wall on the right is too close, then the handle will stand in the way and you cannot use the tool. The weight of the tool together with the necessary 2x4 is considerable and it will give you quite a bit of exercise. The far side wall must have hard points against which you can press, otherwise you must nail another 2x4 to the subfloor next to the far side wall to serve as a support, and this technique will not work with the last couple of laps. It does have the tendency to raise the board on which you work. One important positive point to mention is that it will work on the last lap as long as the wall has hard points.
