is the 500 watts on each channel are is it like 250 watts on each channel ?

It claims to be 500 watts , which may be possible if you shorted the thing out. So i would estimate that to be peak power. the reality is it will do a total of around 60. to push 500 out of it it would draw 60 amps , it has a 5 amp fuse so 30 per channels is a realistic value.It is very temperature sensitive so mount it somewhere with lots of air flow

What are the product dametions?

the diamentions about 2 h x4w x 6d very small for 500 watts?,,, i like for use on a small monitors..clean at mid volume,,,tad dirty on louder volumes,,,,over all OKAY...at best....size and power useage are its best features...

does this item push out 500 watts as advertised?

I'm not sure, Justin. I use it to push some speakers on my Harley Road King. It does a good job in that application, replacing another amp that had fried. I hope someone else can answer your question, specific to what you want to do with it. It has held up well. Dave
