This is quite possibly the best yoga/workout mat on Amazon. I tried and returned 4 other mats before getting to this one. I LOVE this mat. I do HIIT-style workouts at home and I needed a mat that was thick enough to cushion my feet/knees/wrists and did not slip on my hard tile floor. This mat finally did all of those things. It’s thick enough that my wrists and knees do not hurt during floor exercises. It does NOT slip on the tile floor even during fast lateral moves. And I do not slip on it even when I’m sweaty. And to top it all off, it comes in a pretty color. I could not be happier. It’s also a nice size. I’m 5’10” and I wish it was a little longer, but it’s not the end of the world. However, if they ever made this exact mat in a longer version, I would buy it. It is bigger than most “normal” yoga mats I’ve bought, so please don’t let my comment on size discourage you from this product. All I’m saying is that if a longer one ever existed, I would get it. Haha. Another couple pluses that I just thought of: it’s easy to wipe down and clean and it unrolls nicely and becomes flat pretty quickly. I tried a couple other thick mats and the end never fully unfurled. I don’t roll this up super tight, so that probably helps. Also, it seems like it has a sturdy surface that won’t flake or crack. One of the other mats had splits in the surface of it after only one use. I’ve used this one a couple times now with shoes on and the surface is still intact. This one MIGHT even resist dog nails, but I love this mat so much that I am NOT letting my baby on it (no matter how hard he tries)! Wow, I just talked so long about a yoga mat… now y’all know how amazing it is. Don’t try to get the $30 ones if you want a thick mat that won’t slip on hard floors. I’ve tried almost all of them. Just get this one!Update: Only downside of this mat is the horribly useless strap that comes with it. I just re-bought this mat about a year after buying my first one and, despite all the negative comments about the strap, this company is still using the same one. Such a shame. It’s way too small, so it’s hard to get over the mat, and then you’re left with just a teeny length in the middle with which to carry it. I still love the mat though and I’m only buying it again to have one for my mom when she comes to visit.

I upgraded from my old mat, and this is amazing!! It is at least twice as thick as my old mat. It’s worth the price, and it’s a beautiful color. I am able to do yoga and strength training easily on this mat. It doesn’t slip, provides extra cushion for my knees, and feels amazing to stand on. It is bigger than a standard yoga mat which is a plus for me at home but I imagine it might be difficult or bulkier to travel with. It also doesn’t fold up as tightly because of that so it takes up a little more room. It is durable, because my dog has walked on it several times, and there are no tears or holes!! I love this mat and would buy again.

Super comfy and wide enough to support me. The included string to carry it honestly sucks, but I don't really take it anywhere. (Just get a yoga mat bag.) The mat itself is really nice. Just as the others mentioned, it smelled like the factory, so I let it air out in the sun and now it's fine. It also can be punctured by dog nails. My dog left some divots behind for me to remember him. I think they give it character, for every scar tells a story. I love mine for it's thickness and large size, but if you're reading this, the main problems are: it's hard to travel with, must be broken in, and can tear.

This yoga mat is excellent, and I'm very satisfied with it. First of all, its thickness is just right, it looks durable, and there's no odor at all. The packaging is neat and elegant. It also comes with a carrying strap. Now my child can practice safely and comfortably.

I've been using this mat for about a month. I bought this mat because it's wider than the standard mat, and a little thicker. I like it! Some reviewers commented on the smell. I think it's fairly inoffensive. I only notice it when I'm face-down on the mat, and it's very faint. It seems to be getting fainter the more I use it. This mat does tend to hold the "curl" after it's been rolled up awhile, but it flattens out in a minute or two after you unroll it. It also hold footprints/handprints for a long moment after you move, but that's the price you pay for a thicker/softer mat. All in all, this has been a good mat for the money!

The blue color is better than pictured! It’s thick and soft with no smell. It has just the right amount of grip and space. I’m 5’8” and it’s perfect!

This is the best yoga mat I’ve ever owned! This mat is so thick and comfortable. I felt no pain in my knees or back while doing stretches and it made working out very enjoyable. There was no smell and I was able to use it within minutes of opening. My cat seems to enjoy it too hehe

I am VERY happy I found this product. I like the feeling, size and color. I can roll easily without worrying about breaking it. I feel comfortable putting my face down as it doesn't have any odd smell. I found it perfect for my daily exercise, and it certainly is worth for the price.
