Very workable
I used this in the small un-insulated shed housing the wellhead for my water well when we had temps drop into the low 20's.The first day, I checked a few hours later and it was out and the fuel was gelled. As in other reviews, the wick comes very short. So when you pull the stopper on the wick, get out your multi-tool pliers and carefully grab the wick and pull it out another 1/4". Did that and it's still burning 4 days later.I put this inside a clay planting pot, with another, smaller one inverted over the top. Air still gets in through the drain hole on the pots, but it blocks the wind and also traps the heat so the fuel doesn't jell. It also then radiates that heat into the space. This is a trick I picked up from that "Creek" guy on the Fat Guys In The Woods survival show, who wrote a book on survival tips. Works well. If the temps continue to drop, you can put two or even more of these together. Each one bought me ~4-5 degrees. In a better insulated space or with less draft, the heat would stay in the space better.

Perfect for emergency needs.
I bought these lamps to keep on hand for emergency needs. If the lights go out I have them in an easily accessible area with a lighter. I like that the jars are a hard plastic and easy to store. I have not lit one yet because I am saving them for when we need them. I have used similar products in the past and have had good results. I plan on buying more of these to have for around the house needs if the power were to ever go out. These can be put in various locations around the house and have long burn time and can be preserved when not in use. For the price and the size I am very pleased with these candles. I prefer the liquid to wax candles and smokeless is an important feature as well.

Great for multiple uses
They were used when our power was out and later for our porch entertaining. Perfect size and sturdy. They’re the same candles restaurants use for table lights. Burns a long time-4 hours or more. Can be used as a tabletop fire pit for ambiance but not for keeping warm.

Value for the money.
I had these for several months before an outage had me lighting one up.So much easier to use than trying to set up a candle. And safer too.The scent is something I don't care for, however my wife loves it.I was surprised by the amount of light and how long it lasted. These are a great value and well appreciated when needed.I will reorder and recommend to friends.

very very thin container
I haven't tried these candles yet, but I was very disappointed by how thin the plastic containers were. I am actually storing them inside 2 gallon size plastic freezer bags because I am afraid they will be damaged and leak.
