Perfect boots
I rarely write reviews, but I felt that I must for these boots. I have been using a pair of Keen Pittsburgh's for the last year and a half as an electrician, and they have been fantastic. However, the waterproofing has failed me and the soles are starting to peel apart a bit. I could probably easily get another half a year out of them, but I don't like water getting into them and the squeaky noise they make. When looking for new boots, I tried on every pair of Keen's available around my town, but nobody had these in stock. I tried almost all their others, but didn't find anything as comfortable as the Pittsburgh. I was strongly considering getting another Pittsburgh, but really liked the look of these and decided to give them a shot. And boy am I glad I did. These boots feel more similar to Pittsburghs than any other Keen IMO, and better. They have a bit more room in the toe box, and the arch support feels much nicer to me than the Pittsburgh, which I eventually replaced with some anatomical insoles. I think I will just keep these insoles in them. They feel more sturdy than the Pittsburgh, being of all leather construction, and the sole feels a little sturdier too. My ONLY gripe with the sole, and boots in general, is that they seem to be more slippery than the Pittsburgh, as I was sliding around on the ice at the jobsite today quite a bit. However, I can't know for sure if the Pittsburgh would have performed better in that situation or not. The middle of the sole feels very grippy and works well on concrete, just not ice. Only one speed lace makes them quicker to get on and off versus 3, and doesn't compromise the fit. They are lighter weight, almost the same height(Braddock is higher in the sides but lower in the back), and perfect height IMO. And best of all, they are made in the next state over from me and proudly state it. Overall fantastic, please KEEN keep making these and I will keep buying them.

Great, comfortable and durable shoes
This shoes always last me like a full year. I wear them to do pool repairs and are great water proof, comfortable, durable. No complaint at all. I took pictures this time for potential buyers and decided to write a honest review.Thank you, Keen. I have been wearing your shoes for the past five years. For work and recreational wear. Had never let me down.Highly recommended.

LOVE THESE BOOTS!!!
Absolutely love these! I got a pair for work because I needed them, and fell in love. These wear more like a sneaker than a boot. I can wear them all day and my feet aren’t sore. Also, totally waterproof. I don’t know how keen did it, but the first pair I had wore a hole in the leather and my feet still stayed dry!?! I work around water and my boots get wet multiple times a day every day. I drive tractor trailers and tri-axle dump trucks and operate equipment and I’m on construction sites. These boots never let me down. I like them so much I have three pair. The only down side is that the soles don’t last as long as I’d prefer, I got about 15 months out of the first pair. But even with holes in the leather, worn through soles, my feet were still dry, protected, and comfortable. Definitely would recommend.

The most comfortable all day boots I’ve ever owned!!! one caveat though...
I’ll start off 1st by repeating the headline... they were the most comfortable pair of all day work boots I’ve ever owned!I work construction, both finished sites and full on construction sites, and I liked how these boots were both tough for the full on sites, and then cleaned up for the finished office work. They are great as allaround boots. And now for the caveat... (see pics) and the reason I’m only giving them 4 stars.Poor design in the construction of the boots when it comes to the heavier workloads of a full on construction site.I’m not sure if it’s just the pair I owned, but the boots started to split at the outer edge in the pinky toe areas. This happened about 9 1/2 months after owning them. And TBH, it’s the 1st time I spent that much $$$ on a pair of work boots ($170.00)Normally I willl not spend more than $120-$130 on work boots, but I was suffering from Plantar Faciitis and these boots were recommended and did a great job in that respect. In my opinion, (and of course I could be wrong...)I believe it’s the glue type construction where the boot meets the sole that caused this to happen.I’ve owned many pairs of boots (all brands) in my 17+ years of working construction, and not one pair has split this way.And again, my opinion... those boots all had a stitched sole construction.I will say I have purchased a second pair of Keen work boots, this pair features seam construction.KEEN Utility Men's Milwaukee 6-Inch Steel Toe Work Boot,Slate Black,13 EE US https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007KA7F9M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_.OgPAbJF8XNP9I will give my opinion on those once they have run their course.Update:I returned the boots I purchased, they were just too bulky for my liking.
