Will the 4 cup version still make great coffee if it's filled with less water & coffee - enough for 1 or 2 cups?

I’ve used mine twice today, and both times filled it with water and coffee and drank it all in one cup. Even the 4-cup version is small - it’s 4 shots only - so using less water and coffee (it takes 2 heaped teaspoons) isn’t really necessary. That said, if you use less water and coffee it would work ok, especially if you simmer the water through at the final stage, rather than rushing it through on high heat throughout. Hope this helps.

What setting do you use for induction and how long do you set the timer?

I have an induction one and assuming you put cold water in, I put on setting no 11 (my high setting is 14) and it’s ready in about 4 mins. Main thing to watch for is right at end of when it’s done, a fair bit of steam comes out the spout and the pot should then be pretty much full. Don’t leave in after that otherwise coffee can taste burnt. It’s great, I love the coffee it produces. Enjoy
