I've taken to using primarily fountain pens for all of my day-to-day writing and to carry with me everywhere. Modern fountain pens have come a long way to make them practical. I started with and Amazon Basics fountain pen. And for as inexpensive and simple as it is, the quality was quite good. Wrote pretty smoothly, and ink flow was good. So I then thought more expensive meant a better pen. I will refrain from mentioning the brand I chose, but I thought it might be a happy medium between quality and cost. Turned out, while the pen was capable of smoothness and clean lines, it required more finesse than I was willing to provide at all times while using it. This time, I bought this Scriveiner fountain pen. The difference was nothing short of mind-blowing. Effortless, silky smooth, comfortable writing. I was expecting an improvement, but honestly writing with this Scriveiner pen has turned out to be an absolute joy... not just a chore with a tool. I find any excuse I can to use it. I'm sure the novelty will wear off as I get used to the superior quality, but this pen, at least for now, bring me great joy to write with it. I've been using cartridges and have had no problems at all and the ink flow has been grand. Some day I'll venture into using the converter and a bottle of ink... but not so far. Even the look and feel of this pen, and it's quality are plain to see. Everyone should use pens like this. It would make the world a happier place.

I cannot give enough praise to this pen. It writes like an absolute dream. The pen doesn't leak at all, the weight is perfect, the ink doesn't get clogged when you don't use it for a while, and it's just a beautiful item, built to last. Even though it seems to use a lot of ink (I got the medium nib), it hasn't run out on me yet, and I've done a fair bit of writing with it. It's just wonderful. Best pen I've ever had. Definitely worth the extra money. The only problem with it (and it's not exactly a problem) is that it puts a LOT of ink on the paper, and bleeds through with cheap paper. But I got a special notebook with thick paper specifically for using this pen, and problem solved. Now I can experience the joy of using this pen as much as I want! In short, get this pen.

The pen is very classy and elegant, very well built .Feels great in hand. I love the color I chose (green and silver) something about it makes writing feel fun rather than a chore and also makes it feel more special to write and an overall more enjoyable experience than a regular cheap disposable rollerball pen , it was well worth it !I did however have a problem with the nib, it was very scratchy and after about 2 full pages skipped slightly, I reached out to their customer support, after contacting them they responded very quickly to me to help me out , the scratchy nib issue was taken care of basically immediately thanks to Dan at customer service, in no time at all I had great customer service and a new replacement nib on the way and should be arriving within the week .Very happy with the build quality and also with their awesome customer service!Would definitely recommend! Also rest assured if any issue does arise they’ll take care of it and very quickly too !

The media could not be loaded. This is my second Scriveiner pen. The first a ballpoint similar to this that has many miles of writing and refills and is still perfect. Like the ball point, this is nicely weighted. Not too heavy, but not at all cheap. The pen has good weight and balance. I like the feel with it posted, and, you can write with it unposted pretty well. The nib writes smoothly, maybe just a bit scratchy, but that seems to be diminishing as I use it more. And, this is a fine nib as opposed to a medium. This pen starts right up, even after sitting overnight (I keep my inked fountains horizontally, so your experience might vary). There is no tapping, or wetting needed. There is no skipping or drop outs.I want to note the EXCELLENT customer service. You will see in the video I questioned how loose the grip is once loosened from the barrel when unscrewing. I contacted Scriveiner on instagram and they had me send a video, which they responded to within an hour saying it was normal and, if the pen starts loosening when it is seated, they will be happy to take care of it. I put the video here because some may not like the amount of loose and slop this grip has when unscrewing. For me, once the grip is tight on the barrel, there is no issue and the pen is solid and really performs very well. I can live with the looseness. AND, it does seem out of sorts a bit considering how well built this pen is overall. I don't have fountains that are this sloppy when unscrewing them to fill. Overall though, especially for the money, an excellent pen and very excellent and caring customer service. i would buy another Scriveiner without hesitation.
