This book is helping me in so many ways. It is beautifully written and has enough that resonates to make it a powerful assist in the grief process

This is a great book to read and understand the stages of grief.

this book is not just written for counselors, it is written for lay people too. I lost a friend recently and found it very helpful in dealing with the loss. This would be a great gift for someone who has lost a loved one or parent or someone close to them in their lives. we found the book written by Kubler Ross on death and dying to be very technical and hard to understand. But this book is much more easy to understand and digest. It is written on a level that we all can relate to and is much more personable.

I just lost my loved one, so I haven't read this yet,but it was recommended to me for moving on with my life😥

This book brought me a lot of comfort, when I really needed some. Easy to read. Short, but powerful.

The book itself is very good but the paper it is printed on is very poor quality. Very thin paper that tears when simply turning a page. Only giving 2 stars because of the paper not because of the book

I bought this used so I didn’t expect it to be in perfect condition, but I definitely didn’t expect it to show up with bent front and back covers, yellow pages, and the $3.99 price tag still on it. That’s one heck of a markup!

Helpful book to read when one loses a close family member or friend.

When my husband passed away I found this book a great resource for understanding the transitions. Have recommended to friends.

I liked the way it was written bringing many examples through actual events to help you understand where you are in the grief process and where you are going.Helping you to evaluate and make some sense of the sudden ups and downs and perhaps most of all the terrible regrets. the sudden different world you are now in without your wonderful companion and friend your special lover.no one can ever prepare for that sudden terrible cut off and deadly silence that comes .but there is hope and a way forward.there are friends who support and there are some that don't.I am just approaching my 1st annniversary of of my Most lovely wife's going to be with Jesus in heaven and I have a great hope of seeing her again, free of all pain and gloriously restored.I do a lot of things I know she would want me to.You are going to have to let go and forgive yourself. None of us are perfect we all make mistakes.This book will help a lot of people It will touch on areas you would rather not think about so it may well open things up for further deep penetrating thoughts.further adjustments will be coming.You have to decide you are going to swim and not given in.I have cried to to my Father in heaven so many times and shed so many tears and I still am.The grief comes upon me so suddenly without warning But I am glad because it shows I really loved someone ,and it is all the good memories as well as the not so good.that trigger the grief.I have accepted my grief because I loved and will continue to do so.But this book is written so sensitively yet at the same time opening up some of the situations you just do not understand.

This book is a must buy to understand the grieving process. It has been a great help to me dealing with my own grief.

I am still reading this book but so far it is fantastic. This is the type of book I will go back to time and again for help.
