It would have been easier if he had watched the how-to youtube video before, rather than after trying to get the old lamp and plastic pieces out, but either way it worked great, fit right in. I was going to have this replaced by the Toyota dealer, but they said that even without labor the part would cost $150, even though all I needed was the plastic cover for the blinker!
