Review: Killer subs at insane prices! - I first bought the 8 inch Alphasonik sub for wife's Dodge Journey. She's not fussy with audio so I got her the 8" which I wasn't expecting to be earth shaking. It was small, the price was right and it got great reviews on desertcart. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of punch from this little thing! I'm powering it with a JL Audio 250 watt mono amp. As a quasi-audiophile I wasn't looking for thunderous, muffled bass, but I wanted to fill out the bottom end with a faithful reproduction of the 50-100hz range. I loved the 8" sub so much that I ordered the 10" one for my Dodge Ram 1500--knowing that I'd love it. I'm powering that with a Pioneer 4 channel 4/3/2 amp. It hits a good bit harder than the 8" and I'm a satisfied customer! Above all this, the subs are priced at budget-level yet they yield big-buck performance. They have the construction and heft of much more expensive equipment. I don't know how they do it. I had a $199 10" Kicker sub a few years ago and it was on par with the AS10DF. I can't believe your equipment doesn't have a bigger presence on the internet.
