The small piece which enables the springiness of the clipper failed 8 weeks after purchase with only normal weekly use. It snapped and fell off. Disappointed because I purchased these after having first purchased the excellent toenail clippers from the same company. These clippers should last for years with normal use, not weeks.EDIT: I subsequently repurchased the same fingernail clipper thinking the failed spring was a one-off and they have worked as promised. I have updated this review to a 5-star because, unbidden, the company contacted me and sent a full refund for the failed set of clippers. Very impressed that the company did this. Just hope they redesign the spring mechanism to make it more substantial and last many years.

This product does a nice job on thick hard to cut toe nails .

I have purchased this item twice. Once in the set and once on its own. Had no issues with first purchase in fact liked it very much but lost the smaller clipper so rebought to replace and the new had such poor quality that it broke on second use! Will not buy this brand ever again.

Pros: They’re very sharp so be careful. Good design and kind of cool looking. I’ve got thick nails that aren’t a challenge for these.Cons: They’ve gone a little overboard on their packaging in my opinion. The pouch I use because they’re so sharp, the can got recycled. Would buy again

Very well made and wide enough to cut through the thick toenails. I’ve tried several and were junk.This one is made with durable and sharp metal. Great design and folds away nicely. This is the best set I’ve ever found and will recommend to everyone that needs this. 5+ stars

These are for sure for heavy duty needs! I got them for my elderly clients who dont have toenails, but CLAWS 🤣 & keep forgettingto give them to the couple, so when I needed a toenail trim I thought I'd give them a whirl- and oh my! Almost cut my whole toe off! Not really, but if I was careless I could have! There are no safety features which i usually hate generally, so I'm not complaining. Just warning you! They came in a fancy bag & metal jar. Great quality!

I have a set I bought a couple of years ago. Bought 2 more recently for my wife and son. My set is still sharp and the file is very good. The bag makes them easy to find in the drawer
