Timely 132T Furniture Template, 1/4"

Handy template for my interior design classes. However, you have to be extremely careful when using this and other Timely Templates with pens (we use Sakura Micron technical pens a lot for our final-draft drawings) because this is not an inking template, meaning it does not have the little "nubs" on the back which raise the template itself a fraction of a millimeter above the paper surface and keeps ink from bleeding under the plastic and smearing. This can be very frustrating! Alvin, Rapidesign, Pickett, and Staedtler templates are inking templates but do not have the same convenient assortment of furniture and fixtures that the Timely line does, and tend to be more expensive, so it's a real trade-off.

It is much easier to move paper furniture around a room than real furniture. Saves time when trying to determine where to put new furniture, and also when drawing blueprints for a house, in order to be sure enough room is allowed for items that will go into that room.

My wife and I are downsizing, moving from our home of over 35 years to a smaller condominium. The template made it easy to figure our what furniture we could take with us.

We are moving to a retirement community and downsizing from a three to a two bedroom unit with no den. This tool has helped me know exactly which pieces of furniture will fit in our new home. The task would have been very difficult without this template. Very good buy.

We are building a lakehouse and needed a tool to help us place furniture to decide where floor outlets will go. This was the perfect tool for us !! It met our needs !!

This has been great to use in planning furniture layouts for house we are building. Can just draw right on the plans!
