Seriously. How have we never had this chainmail tool?? With the collection of cast iron skillets and pans we have, this has made cleanup so much faster! It does the job perfectly -- it scours and is a breeze to rinse out and hang to dry or let sit in a kitchen towel. This was a perfect stocking stuffer for the man with all the cast iron! Absolutely would buy again (and annoyed I've never bought one before)!

I am new to cast iron and have been struggling to clean with just a plastic scraper. I used this cleaner today and it easily removed grime from cooking burgers that I was unable to scrape off. Works great, seems durable. Glad I bought it.

It does what I wanted but I thought it was going to be in rectangle form and not just a chain form.

It works well on my cast iron.

I grab this when I have a thick crust of food such as over-cooked beans and rice baked on to my all clad stainless cookware. A plastic scraper takes longer to use and traditional steel pads get all gunked up. This product makes short work of this kind of mess. I just swirl the "chain mail" around with a little pressure to remove the gunk and the gunk rinses right off the cook ware and the cleaner. So quick and easy! Please note that too much pressure might scratch stainless, but I use very little pressure and haven't had a problem with surface scratching. I was not influenced to write my review of this product in such a way, although after my review the seller sent me a discount for purchasing a second one as a "thank you" and I purchased a second one.. I originally bought this item sometime in July, 2016. I use both used frequently, but gently. I can say in my experience I have not lost any links and they look brand new, but of course there may be changes in how this item is manufactured after I made my purchase. Again, I gently use it to quickly removed stuck on gunk like macaroni and cheese, beans, etc., that have been pre-soaked with water to make removal easier from Le Crueset cookware, All clad stainless and glass casserole dishes. I have not attempted to use it on cast iron. I find it is easy to use, it has not caused problems with the surfaces of my cookware because I use it GENTLY to lift off the stuff that would gunk up a Brillo pad. And it's very easy to clean - rinse and put it in the dishwasher.
