BRZRKR Vol. 1

Really great service and great great book

This series is by far the most brutal & violent series ive read in years & I absolutely love it. Love the art design & the story is completely mental. Cannot recommend this series enough you have to read it.

Eighty thousand years ago a village under constant attack and threat prays to the gods for a weapon with which to defend themselves from the overwhelming forces that attack them as each season passes. Soon after a woman in the village gives birth to a son and although not the gift they were looking for from the gods, as the boy ages they realise he is different and can not be harmed. Once of age they use the boy as the weapon for which he was intended, with immortality and unnatural strength he soon overcomes their enemies. However, with each passing battle he begins to lose his grip on his sanity , finding it increasingly difficult to control his power and his rage. Cut to the modern day and the man known as 'B' is once again being used as a weapon by the American government in exchange for their greatest scientists finding a way to end his never ending existence.The first thing you will notice about BRZRKR is the art work. The first chapter is low on dialogue and high on brightly coloured and brutal artwork to give the reader a sense of the life of pure violence that our 'hero' leads. In this sense the artwork does a great job as this is probably one of the most brutally violent graphic novels I have ever laid my eyes upon. The following chapters are still violent but we discover the back story to 'B' and his pl;ace in the world. The story overall is pretty short and so you are left with many questions but it does lay things out for a massive expanse of time and a whole new world that can be explored in future installments. I really enjoyed this first step into the world of 'B' and have high hopes for the next volume.

Love this book

Origin story of this new character. Hard to believe Mr Nice guy Keane Reeves had this story inside of him. One wonders what effect 4 John Wick movies had on him. Well this seems to be it.

The story and art in this book is incredible. Very gory. Recommend this to anybody who likes these sort of books!

Enough gore for anyone, everyone, the whole of creation, take your pick nuff said peace out how many words are left to add….

I liked the Artwork, it's a fast read and interesting story. I wish there was actually more dialogue. I am def. Considering getting the next volume.

The comic book itself is awesome, great story and awesome art. Of course, the most important part is the condition of the books when they arrive. I have always been apprehensive about ordering collectible items from amazon, including movies and music because sometimes they arrive in poor condition but this book arrived in pristine shape which makes me very happy.

Stands true to its name, berserker. doesn't hold back in terms of action and violence. Must read. Interesting premise.
