Dark Chocolate Covered Dried Cherries

Arrived as a solid block of chocolate and cherries. 😢 I contacted the seller, did not volunteer to exchange my delivery. They cited their description: "Chocolate Product Shipping: We recommend that you do not include chocolate covered products in your order if temperature at shipping address will be above 75 degrees in the next 7 days. Cherry Bay Orchards does not take responsibility for product that has defects resulting from shipping in high temperatures." I live on the central coast of CA where temps rarely reach 75 degrees. The day my delivery arrived, it was 75 degrees. However, the chocolate was already a cooled block of chocolate. I won't purchase their product again.

I received a bag of these as a Christmas gift last year and loved them and have already been to a local store twice to get more. Those first bags were fresh and the treats were soft - they reminded me of giant Raisinets! 😋When I saw them on Amazon, I was so happy to be able to order them in bulk! I intended to keep some and gift the rest and was happy to get them at a lower price per bag than at the local store.My order of 12 6oz packages arrived yesterday. I opened a bag to share with my mom last night and we’re disappointed. These do NOT taste fresh, like those from the store - they’re crunchy between the chocolate and cherries. Unhappy with this order! If it was the first time I tried them, I wouldn’t get them again.

My husband got addicted to chocolate covered dry cherries whilst living in Oregon for a year. Plus he is a real milk chocolate fanatic. I have given him these chocolate covered cherries for four years now and he LOVES the flavor, taste, texture and freshness of these cherries, and I love the PRICE! Even with the shipping cost factored in, this is an incredible deal. These cherries are every bit as good as the cherries that I have bought in airports for like $8.99 for a six ounce bag. You will not regret this purchase.

Granted the chocolate used is dark as advertised but there’s far more chocolate then there is cherry. The chocolate is waxy and thicker and the cherries are almost un tastable. The previous batch I ordered from a different vendor what 65% chocolate but there was far less of it and the cherries were juicy and very flavorful. I will not be ordering from this company again.

Heaven in a box is what these were. I am very sad that they are not available now that I've eaten all the ones I bought. The cherries are dried, but not chewy or tough. They chocolate has just the right amount of milk-chocolatey goodness - not too sweet and not too bitter. The amount I got seemed very fair for the price... and the taste was so so so so so good. I hope they become available again soon!!!!

These are delicious and I have often bought them direct from the people who grow and make them. This shipment from Amazon's supplier was delicious as well, but they were a little stale. The chocolate was a little dry. But better dry than mushy! And shipping is free with Prime.

These are wonderful! You can tell the care shown by a family business who grows the cherries and makes the candies. The cherries are large and plump and moist, and the chocolate is very nice. My grandson has asked me twice to send him boxes now, which I have done! I don't know how I can get out of carrying it on!!! They are lovely.

Love these. I've missed the dove chocolate covered cherries and have been disappointed since I can't get them anymore. These are the best. So glad I found them.
