Q: Is the blade real D2 steel?

I do not have a way to test whether or not the steel is truly D2. I can tell you mine took a razor sharp edge well. I can shave the hair on my arm with it easily. It took some time and effort to get it that sharp with a wet stone. It does not "feel" like a "soft" metal when sharpening. You can feel cheaper/softer metal when using a stone. I've used it a little bit and it's still holding an excellent edge. D2 or not, I'm sure it will hold up well for the price.

Q: Can you set Sheath up for Scout carry?

Yes absolutely. I bought a better belt lock, gblsunion tactical 2 pack. The hide and drink small leather sheath works perfect also. I wet molded mine for a tighter fit.

Q: Does this come with a 90 degree spine?

Not sure but for the price its a grwat knife, i use it all the time.

Do not know , but it is a very sturdy very sharp knife God quality steel .
