Withstood heavy wind and rain and still a winner!
I purchased this for my husband to wear while traveling through Ireland in case of rain. Well, it rained sometime throughout the day, every single day of the 10 days we were there. This jacket was especially put to the test the day we visited the Cliffs of Moher. Rain and heavy winds and it never left him down! We did order a size bigger than he usually wears for a jacket, so that he could wear it over top of a hoodie or sweater, and it was perfect, we were grateful we did that. It’s thin but that means it’s also very packable and perfect on the warmer days that he just wanted to throw it on over a tshirt and not got overheated. When he wasn’t using it, it was easily rolled up and stored in his backpack and took very minimal space. The quality is great and it still looks as good as the day we got it!

practical and stylish option
The COOFANDY Men's Lightweight Rain Jacket with Hood is a practical and stylish option for anyone in need of a reliable raincoat. The jacket is incredibly lightweight and packable, making it easy to toss into a bag when you're on the go or traveling. The army green color is versatile and looks good with just about anything, while the waterproof material keeps you dry in light to moderate rain. The hood is a nice touch, providing added protection from the elements, and the jacket has a comfortable, breathable fit without feeling too bulky. As a work windbreaker, it also offers some wind protection, which is useful on breezy days. The small size fits true to size, so it’s ideal for those looking for a jacket that’s functional without being too oversized. Overall, this rain jacket is a solid, affordable choice for staying dry and comfortable in unpredictable weather.

Solid lightweight jacket, great for travel
Picked this up as a backup rain jacket for travel and outdoor activities like hiking etc, never know when you might need it and i dont want to have to carry something heavy whilst out and about. While I haven’t been caught in a downpour with it yet, the material feels like it’ll handle light to moderate rain without any issue. The outer shell is water-resistant and seems to dry pretty quickly.I like how lightweight and packable it is,it folds down easily and doesn’t take up much space in my bag, which is perfect when I’m on the move. The hood fits snugly and has decent coverage, and the zipper and seams feel solid and not very flimsy.Fit-wise, the Small fits pretty true to size. It's a slim cut, which I prefer,( im 6 feet )it doesn’t flap around when you're active, but there’s still room for a thin layer underneath.Pros:Lightweight and compact, great for packingWater-resistant enough for light rain or windSleek look; works well for casual wear, golf, or light outdoor use.Affordable priceCons:Not insulated, definitely a shell layer onlyMight not hold up in heavy, extended rain ( yet to test this as i said)Overall, it’s a great value jacket for the price, ideal for travel or keeping in your car or backpack for unexpected weather. Just don’t expect it to perform like a heavy-duty raincoat, and you’ll be happy with it.

Lightweight Rain Jacket
Lightweight and mostly waterproof rain jacket. The hood string came out quickly after a few uses, which is annoying.

Not waterproof
I bought this before going to South East Asia and I cannot recommend you buy this.If it is LIGHTLY misting you will likely be fine, but this IS NOT waterproof. In actual rain the front of your body gets wet quickly as the water leaks in through the front zipper. After a few minutes the rest of you will also begin to get wet as the material is barely water resistant and slowly allows water inside.I tested this in the bathroom when I got home by holding the hood from the inside and cupping my hand and pouring water into it and almost immediately I could feel the moisture and after only 15 seconds or so I could see the beads of water on my skin.Bottom line, will keep you semi dry if it’s misting. It will keep you warm because it is not breathable, but I think that’s just how rain coats are going to be.Would make a good wind breaker not a rain coat.

Purchased this for my dad for Christmas 2024 and he loved it! He wore it all the time and has been talking about bringing it out soon to be prepared for weather.
