Additionally, it wrote more like a medium, though I purchased and expected a extra fine nib.However, this initial letdown was swiftly resolved by Scriveiner’s outstanding customer service. They were incredibly responsive and thorough, quickly arranging for a replacement. The new pen arrived promptly, and this time, it was perfect. The extra fine nib wrote exactly as it should—finer than even my Pilot pens—and has since become my go-to everyday carry (EDC) pen.Beyond its performance, the Scriveiner Classic Silver Chrome is a stunningly designed pen. It feels solid and well-balanced in hand. The chrome and gold finish exudes a refined elegance. I love love love the finial design. Got my pen with the two initial ink cartridges broken in shipping. Reached out and asked if I could get a replacement. They sent a full ink cartridge refill order! I was not expecting that. Additionally they were quick to respond to my email, and very kind in their response.On top of that, the pen works great. I have been using it a ton and really love the feel of it, how it writes and the weight of it in my hand. The ink flows very well, clean writing every time.

This is a beautiful fountain pen that is well built and writes smoothly. The pen simply glides across the paper. The ink neither feathers nor bleeds and dries quickly. The ink flows well from the nib and there is absolutely zero skipping. It would make an ideal gift.

The pen is beautiful, works well, and feels much better in the hand than other pens I've used. It does come with ink, but I recommend buying some quick dry ink instead. The cap has good tension and does not fall off, at the same time it is easy to remove without too much effort. The clip felt a little too firm at first and was hard to clip onto my shirt pocket, but after a few weeks it has loosened to a good tension. The knurled grip prevents slipping but is not too aggressive where it hurts your fingers. It's weight is balanced well. It feels like alot of thought has been put in every little detail. Overall this has been my favorite pen I've ever owned in my life.

Writes like a dream; better than a lot of named brand pens at their lower end price points. Must say customer service is excellent. The first one I received had defects in workmanship. But Catherine was super helpful, and sent me a replacement which is excellent. I would recommend this brand.

I am a regular user of fountain pens and have experience with several reputed fountain pen brands. I initially bought this pen with not so high expectation but now it has become a part of my daily use. The thing I like about this pen is that it is not too wet (I use the fine nib) and yet have ease of writing. It is a great pen for the value. I even went on to buy a second one.I also appreciate their customer service. The complimentary cartridges were missing in the second order and they were very prompt to send me a box of cartridges after I informed them.

This is a higher quality pen than you’d expect, given the price. Very smooth nib, with excellent ink flow from either cartridge or converter. Most of my use for this fine pen has been with an ink converter, but the occasional cartridge has been employed while travelling.This pen has excellent balance both posted or unposted. It sits very comfortably in my hand and writes as smoothly as you could ask for.The appearance of this pen is second to none. The beautiful gold accents on silver chrome make it one that anyone would be proud to show off in any setting. It quickly became my go-to fountain pen.I think the only thing that may surpass the look, feel, and quality is the customer support you receive as a Scriveiner customer. Inquiries are responded to quickly by an actual live human, not some chat bot or form letter.Overall, I have never purchased a better writing instrument than this pen. I would recommend it to anyone.
