Camellia Brand Dried Green Split Peas, 1 Pound (Pack of 2)

I made my usual pea soup but somehow it tasted better using this brand. The consistency was thicker and the taste, richer. I’m sold. Will buy again.

Since moving away from New Orleans I haven’t found the “right” split pea/red bean, until I found my favorite company. They taste just like home.

This is my elderly mother's favorite soup. So I bought it in bulk. Because the grocery stores don't seem to be able to carry it.. It got here in record time.

Great for New Years. Cooked it with the spices recommended on the container plus some of my own and added ham. Yummy

Camellia dried bean products always deliver high quality, fresh, clean, best tasting product. Whether it is navy beans, red beans, split peas; I have never been disappointed in their product. Highly recommend!

This line of peas and beans is always first rate. But you need to know how to cook the right to get the most out of them. I cook ham bone with meat on it after I uses most of the ham at 250 till meat falls off. I remove bones and break up meat if broth in pan too salty I remove some and add broth or herb tea. Then put in washed peas with enough liquid to cover. Bake at 350 till. Peas soft, results are peas stay together. Not mushy
