Length was just long enough, and the Mac detected the connection immediately and worked! One thing I did note was the output volume was low, so I had to crank the amp up much louder than normal. This was with the Mac volume set to the loudest as well. Turns out Macs have a built in MIDI app. I opened that and there was a setting to increase output further, as well as set the output for hidef audio. As a result, volume is now more online with other audio sources, and the quality, as far as I can tell, is superb. If you’re looking for a low cost audio usb-b to c cable, this will work well.
