I bought this for my grandsons, 4 and 1.5 years old. Both are wild over it, though the 1.5 year old doesn't do it well yet and often opts to hit with his hand rather than the racquet. Visiting kids love it too. I had a second shipped to one family that couldn't get enough of it recently. The ball "floats" slight which gives kids a more realistic challenge rather than being complete stationary. Another grandfather, who introduced me to his Hit Zone, draws black permanent marker lines around the foam ball's circumference so help older kids learn to see and impart top and underspin to their strokes. So the Hit Zone isn't entirely for absolute beginners. Money well spent.

I bought this for my sons 3rd birthday. It’s perfect. He only hits about 10 balls at a time before wanting to do something else but he gets better each time. During this quarantine it’s become even more useful. It’s the perfect at home tool to keep practicing tennis. I even use it as well.

This is great for training purposes, the only thing i notice it is a little noisy.
