Bug Catcher Kit

This was a gift for my granddaughter and she was so excited to see it. Decent quality and she learns about the natural world when she plays with it.

My 5 year old daughter is in-to bugs right now. I ordered this kit for her and it arrived within 24hrs, Awesome! She’s able to use all the tools independently. She even showed me a spider she caught with the scissors tool and placed it in the cage either harming it 😳🕷 I don’t expect this set to last very long, but it’s a great bargain for all the tools. I would highly recommend 👍👍

Not durable but the kids loved it anyway. Plastic and the kids are a bit rough on things. Some of the pieces came apart right away but still usable. Kids love looking for and catching bugs would definitely buy again.

Its a very cute bug collecting set. The actual container to keep your bugs in is nice with an adjustable neck/shoulder strap. The smaller container with the magnifying glass is also a nice container to see your bugs in. The downside is the accompanying collecting accessories (tweezers, magnifying glass, and bubble tongs) are made of cheap plastic and easily break. The tweezers and bubble tongs were broken within 30 hours of normal use. I had to wrap a very small rubber band around the tongs to keep them working. There is also a nice butterfly net included in the set. For these reasons, I could only rate it a 3. The accessories need to be made of sturdier plastic given that children are using them. My 7 year old grandson loves it anyway and spent all day looking for bugs, moths, and small frogs.

I got this set for his bday. He loved catching critters with it.

Very cute for young bug enthusiasts! My granddaughter, age 6 was thrilled with this. It is okay for durability... but do not expect a lot as it is reasonably priced.

Maybe the cheapest thing I’ve gotten on Amazon. Each piece is remarkable. From the tiny magnifying glass that’s nearly invisible but is actually the most functional part of the set, to the thin plastic tweezers that don’t work, to the big cup is tiny and has a clip holder that doesn’t work either, the entire set is bubble packed disappointment. The net is only finished on one side and the netting has gaps and is starting to come apart. It’s pretty remarkable. Ideal price for this would have been $2.99 and even at that price would be of no interest if seen in person. Go elsewhere - not worth it even for small children.
