"The Ultimate Organizer!"
I got this to go with my backpack because it doesn't have any pockets. It comes in super handy and I use it every single day and it keeps me organized. I did a video review of this on YouTube along with other things on my YouTube channel.https:// youtu.be/ 4V57BopAP2QPros:-Tons of bands and straps going both horizontally and vertically, all different sizes providing different levels of tension for grip-Can fit and securely hold huge portable batteries, and tiny folded wires-Includes a zipper pouch on the back which I wasn't aware of until it came in which was a nice added touch-Has a carrying handle, great for carrying the Grid-It alone or just having a handle to pull it out of your bagCons:-This particular one was probably a little smaller than I would have liked but still ended up satisfying my needsAside from not really realizing how big it would or wouldn't be I love the purchase and highly recommend for anyone who needs some added organization to your bag or suitcase or whatever it is.

Simple and Convenient
It seemed a little pricey to me for what it appears to be, but it is quite simple and convenient. I bought it for my father who just got an iPad and has cords and accessories all over and seemed overwhelmed by them. He already has a case for the iPad and a bag he puts his electronics in. This keeps him from another bag inside a bag and keeps it all organized in plain site. Many of the bands are quite taught, so some of the items were tight going in, but they did (I put his Cannon Elf camera in one a dual USB charger.) I am curious to see how it holds up after a year of accessories going in an out, but so far... I'm a fan!

Clever!
I purchased this item as an alternative to a zippered pouch for electronics and peripherals (chargers, cables, travel router, etc.), and for that purpose, it's been great.Positives:- The irregular spacing of the elastic bands (which are covered with dots of a grippy material) makes this thing really flexible in that you have a lot of leeway in terms of the size / shape items that this thing will hold.- Its flat configuration (compared with a zippered pouch) allows you to slip this into places where a zippered pouch would be more cumbersome; for instance, on a recent trip, I packed a single duffel bag, loaded this organizer up with my stuff, and laid it upside down on the top of all of my clothes.Negatives:(I'm really nit-picking here; in reality, I like this thing a lot, and am happy with my purchase - hence the five stars.)- Your stuff is out in the open, and isn't in a sealed unit (as it would be in a zippered pouch).- The sleeve on the back is a thoughtful addition, but would be more useful for storing small and/or important items if the zipper was more secure; the one that's on there feels a little flimsy.

Heavier than it looks
This is a really cool idea. It makes your bag a hell of a lot more organised, and helps you secure all those little itty bitty things in a non-migraine-inducing fashion. However, this is thing is a LOT more heavy than it looks. I haven't weighed it, but it is certainly much heavier than I expected, so there is a slight trade-off between weight and organisation. However, I do still use it, for the following items: my pagers, 2 AAA batteries, some odd pens, a pack of post-it notes, a gerber multi tool, some zip ties, and a few other miscellaneous items, and it's made my satchel much less messy, and gets a lot of favourable comments.

Convenient & Versatile
The Grid-it that I bought has been very useful. It's a great way to organize small tools, cables or what ever else is bangin' around in your messenger / backpack. All those elastic bands are bound to a somewhat rigid back so that it holds shape and can handle the weight of the different things like a 6" adjustable wrench or a macbook pro power brick. It feels more substantial than you would think by looking at the picture.Grey is the way to go since most cables are black. It's great. I'll be buying more of their products.

Essential travel accessory
Held quite a bit. Great for backpacks and keeping items you use frequently handy, especially on long flights

Does what it says, could be lighter
This has made my backpack much tidier. I mainly use it to hold my many writing utensils, but have certainly used it to hold other items as well. It does a good job. I do think that the materials used make for a heavier product. The company has likely patented this simple but ingenious design, but it doesn't exactly make the most high quality product out of it.It smells chemically straight out of the box but that airs out within a day or two.Looking forward to more great products from Cocoon, hopefully with sleeker iterations of this item!

Truly Awesome
This is one of the neatest and best purchases I've made in a while. I picked this up to better organize the odds and ends I carry around in my backpack. It is wonderful. It is a little steep in price - but as long as the elastic holds tight it will be well worth the price. I am able to get quite a bit put away on it - from extra cables to lip balm and portable hard drives. I liked it so much, in fact, that I bough a 11-inch notebook sling they make (which includes a Grid-It) to carry all my drafting supplies in. After 'oohing' and 'awwing' everyone in my class wants one now to transport their various pencils, leads, erasers, etc. I am in love.
