RespiKit - Respiratory & CPAP Equipment Cleaning Kit by MVAP

It's important to keep a CPAP machine clean, and this product makes weekly deep cleaning easy. There is also a spray for daily use on the mask. It comes with easy-to-follow instructions, and a tub. Simply add warm water and one measure of cleasing solution (they provide the measuring cup) and some soap. Swish it around, and soak the tubing and humidifer chambers into the solution and let soak for 4 hours. I always use the measuring cup to fill up the tube, so that I'm sure there is solution the whole lenght of the tube's interior. After soaking, rinse tube and chambers and let dry.

The bucket is really nice to have for soaking the hoses. The spray is great for cleaning the masks. Nice kit. Happy I bought.

I'm a new CPAP user, but familiar with them from family members who have them. So I've been researching pros and cons and products to clean and sanitize.Ozone will damage internals of machines and void warranties, so that's a no-go. Plus mask, etc still need daily wipe down.Noticeable difference after the first use of the daily spray on the mask! No musty odor and removal of facial oils, so the seal is better!The weekly soak is even better! I almost want to clean everything in that instead! Mask feels amazing!Equipment has a fresh feel and smell, but no fragrances or perfumes! Even better than when its brand new! And very easy to use! Just need a microfiber cloth to wipe/dry and brush/sponge to clean (inside the equip weekly and not just soak and rinse), just for that little extra bit of clean!Only complaint, thus far is the directions are to measure 4oz of solution, but the measuring cup provided is in mls. I just grabbed a measuring cup from the kitchen. 4oz = 1/2 cup which means that it would take several of the provided cups.

first off: I bought the 32oz bottle of Respisoak first-and yes, no measuring instructions. I winged it, with a small Tupperware container, which required several soakings of different items at different times. I also purchased the CPAP hose cleaning kit and a CPAP hose cleaning brush. The 32oz Respisoak concentrate is really intended as a refill after you buy this kit, as the bucket is the measuring device. I broke down and ended up buying the kit. The bucket is very sturdy and holds approximately 2.5 gallons/10 quarts. I filled it to the fill line, that is approximately 1 gallon and 3 quarts. So roughly 2 ounces of RespiSoak for 3.5 quarts and 1 ounce for 1.75 quarts. I like that the bucket will be able to hold everything: mask, hoses, chamber...etc. and it has a lid/ The one thing I would improve-place a notch for the fill line on the inside because it is hard to tell with just the marking on the outside. I will still use the Hose cleaning kit as it provides a place to hang the hose up to dry, of if for some reason I want to clean only the hose and I don't want to use the big bucket for everything. Some people want to use the sink. Fine-I don't.

Works well, low quantity

This works much better than the way I was cleaning my equipment. I was just using a plastic basin tub. No smell and with the lid I don't have to worry about other things getting into the bucket. No smell and I love the bucket. The only odd things was they do supply measuring cups (2) but don't indicate how many ounces in a cup. Measured it myself and it holds 1 oz per cup so you need 4 cups of the cleaner. You also have to add a small amout of soap. I use a Echo, free & clear mild dish soap.

The tub to soak my CPAP parts in is great!! The cleaning solution is just water and bleach that you could dilute yourself. It is a pretty expensive container that you could probably find a similar one if you shopped around but I appreciate that I could order it so quickly on Amazon. I won't buy the refill cleaner. I'll just make my own and put it back in the bottle to use.

I lived for a long time of not being able to use my CPAP machine because of a betadine-like odor that I could not breathe with very well at night. I had oodles of sleepless nights going to bed at about 11 p.m and waking up at 1 a.m., then returning to sleep at 6:30. That is no way to live. Finally after getting the Respikit, I followed the instructions and voila what a difference. I have finally been able to sleep at night with my CPAP on and doing great. I love the big bucket and the tubing and all the parts fit wonderfully. Oh so glad to be able to use my CPAP.
