Rolling Scoot-N-Do Garden Seat Powder Coated Tubular Steel Green - 54½''L x 17¾''L x 27¼''H

I injured my hip and knee, and was looking for something that I could sit on for weeding my flower beds. This product fits the bill. First of all, it is sturdy, with a weight capacity of 400 lbs. I don't have to worry about it collapsing on me, and it won't hurt if my grandchildren play on it. The tractor seat is comfortable, and is adjustable. I am 5'2" tall; I can easily reach the ground on the lowest seat setting. There is a nice pull handle which doubles as a support for getting up and down. If I need to actually be in the flower bed, the garden seat has enough clearance that, if carefully placed, it won't crush my plants. The wire tray and basket provide space for my trowel, clippers, gloves, etc. The only downside for me is that the garden scooter is a little heavy at 30+ lbs. but thanks to the pull handle and steerable wheels, I only have to lift it occasionally for repositioning. My husband and I were a little worried about putting the item together but the directions were clear and all the components were in the package. Although we are not handy people, we had it assembled in about 45 minutes. And, yes, the wheels have a strong odor!

This was very easy to assemble. Extremely sturdy and well made, this is not like thin metal. The handle has hidden features like standing straight up so it doesn’t fall and can be used as an assist when sitting or standing. It never falls all the way to ground because there is a stop. The seat is classic and wide. Company stands behind product and shipping as we had some damage and it was taken care of immediately. The wheels are soft rubber air tires, not hard plastic. Overall a tool that will be used a lot and looks like it should last many years.

this garden "scooter" comes in real handy, it is very study and robust, the seat swivels easily in a 360 degree circle. the two baskets, one under, the other behind the seat are easy accessable and are perfect to hold your garden tools. the wheels are large and roll easily over different terrain. overall, compared to other garden benches, accessories it is very well made, however, i hope the producer /designer would add two features: 1st, some type of brake to stop the wheels from rolling at the slightest movement (i am past 70, and i have raised beds around a cement deck, i had difficulty getting up because the wheels move so easily and the cart keeps on rolling - used a piece of 2x4 to block and stop the wheels from rolling) so, some brake on the wheels would make it easy for older people to get up. 2nd, again it has to do with getting up, some bar close to the seat to push up on while getting up. again, this most likely would only benefit seniors, but i assume that these are also a lot of the consumers that purchase this product to make gardening easier. as i said before it is a great product as is and really makes working in the garden much easier. just something to consider.

This is going to be a great tool for me to use for my garden. It functions just as advertised & will be quite handy & convenient for me. However...the build quality on this is about as poor as can be. Two of the fasteners for the tray mount were too short - had to go to the hardware store & get the right size for it. One bolt had no screw socket in it & one of the washers was half a washer. Almost all of the bolts were not milled to spec, very hard to wrench on. The welds look like they were tacked in by a seven year old with no training. The supposed powder coated seat has deep scratches to the metal after the first time I sat on it from the chain of my biker/trucker wallet rubbing it. All the tires were severely under-inflated, so make sure you have a gauge & compressor or pump to air them up. Did I mention that everything on this is made in China? Assembly is not for the unhandy, disabled ,elderly, or faint of heart. Gripes about the quality aside, I still have high hopes that this will work out to be a good assist on my gardening needs.

With a knee needing replacement, it was finally necessary to improvise gardening tasks. This cart is solid steel with air-filled tires. Underseat storage basket was complicated to install but we got it done. It is so USEFUL. The seat swivels well. The handle is the perfect length to pull it along to a new spot in the garden and then collapses out of the way. This thing will last forever and be worth every penny. We love our little "Johnny Deere".

I love my garden seat on wheels. Bad knees has made it impossible for me to weed and tend my flower beds, but this little tool has gotten me back out smelling those flowers. It is the perfect height for me to pull the weeds and still be able to get up after sitting. I bought this one over others because I was hoping the pull handle could be used to help me up and down it works perfect. The others I tried were too low to the ground and I could not get up off them. This is very sturdy and works perfectly for what I needed. The other day I was doing something in the house, my husband said go get your garden seat and use that to help you.

This is a nice heavy duty item. The first one came damaged, but Plow and Hearth quickly changed it out for a less damaged item. I say less damaged because the first one had some deep down-to-the-metal gouges, but the second one still had some scratches on the seat, but didn't rise to the level of return. I've bought other items from this company, such as solar lights, and they've all been better quality than you can find in the stores around here.

I agree with the May 6, 2016 reviewer. My product arrived in a box that looked like it had been through WW2/Korea & Viet Nam combined!. It was beat up, taped up and had product sticking out the sides. In addition to the 5/6/16 reviewer problems I received a flat tire and I don't know yet if it will inflate. There is a bolt missing from the inside rim of the same tire. The underneath basket will not fit with the hardware provided and it is not the same as shown in amazon picture. The seat was scratched from the trauma of transit. This is a typical "made in china" product. I am very disappointed with Plow & Hearth because I have always held them to higher standards.

The cart arrived quickly, but some parts had a few scratches, likely due to the UPS driver's incompetence and/or laziness. It was to be a gift, so it would've been nice to deliver it in better condition. I assembled it nonetheless, everything fit (except i had to bend the tray supports a bit to get the nut started). The welds are horrible, seriously horrible. The handle is extremely loose fitting, and with the crappy welding job, im not sure id trust it to help me stand up. The plastic cap/cover mid-handle came split on one side, and would never fit over the piece its supposed to, due to hkw crooked its been welded together. Final verdict: its made of heavy duty material, and it may even hold the claimed 400lbs, but personally i wouldn't have paid what i did if i saw it assembled first. On a brighter note, Im sure the 120lb intended recipient will absolutely love it and probably use it for years if its protected from the elements.

Awesome product. Bought it for my husband that has a herniated disc in his back. Would if given it 5 stars he said but the removable basket at the back is always coming off. One of the plastic grommets on the handle came broken.(cracked😕) still highly functional and great to use.

Product is made well, very heavy duty so you know it will hold up well for years to come. Only issue is handling of shipment. The box was badly beaten up with parts hanging out of box when delievered. Thankfully everything is accounted for.

very well made. Ball bearings on the wheels and steering. Very sturdy compared to other clones of this product. Easy to assemble. Mig welded frame is nicely done.
