Our baby (12 months) loves it so much. She is fascinated looking at the real images of babies. She loves going to the happy face and saying “happy!” I am pretty sure this book taught her how to say and play peek-a-boo as well. The book itself is soft and small, and short enough that I don’t mind reading it multiple times a day. Our daughter loves it when we imitate the emotions and expressions on each page for her. I feel like we are really helping her social and emotional development. I’ve even used it when she is having a tantrum, showing her the picture of tired, angry, etc. and asking her which one she is feeling. Amazingly, she usually picks the correct one and it distracts and deescalates her. She flips though it all the time on her own and carries it all over the house.
