Fantastic for sweet or savoury dishes!
The quality of this grated ginger is excellent and great for all curries, etc or indeed sweet dishes - stewed fruits, jams, chutney, puddings. Very versatile no wasteful peeling, just pure ginger. Economic to use, but best of all, full rich flavour! Excellent service and delivery!

You don't need to be lazy to use this ginger!
This is a great product for anyone who uses ginger in their cooking......and I don't count myself as a particularly lazy cook! Having used fresh ginger as well as this product I would count this as just as good in the taste department and obviously better in the time department, however as it comes in strips it still requires chopping finally to use in recipes. The plus with this product is the jars keep for ages and you don't get that mouldy piece of leftover fresh ginger forming its own ecosystem in the bottom of your fridge! Even opened the jars last for ages as the ginger is preserved in vinegar. I even use the vinegar as a flavouring in stir fry sauces along with the ginger itself so nothing gets wasted as the vinegar takes on a lovely gingery flavour of its own. I do not rinse the ginger before I use it as I feel it makes no difference to use it straight out of the jar but i'm sure some people will prefer to rinse it.....its a matter of individual taste and if you can be bothered to! It is great value for money to but this product from amazon rather than the supermarket, I like to keep a stock in the cupboard as most of the meals I cook require ginger and I go through the jars rather quickly, having said that although the jars appear quite small at first glance it takes me a couple of weeks to get through a jar and that is using ginger most nights. I would highly recommend trying this even of you are not a lazy cook!

Easy to use and adds that taste to a good curry, assuming you enjoy that type of food. Saves time in preparation too!!

Great product
The product is great. Recently reviewed this on their site and was concerned about the filler in the package. Me bad thought it was not biodegradable but i was wrong so full marks to them and my apologies.
