Saregama Carvaan Mini Kids - Pre-Loaded with Stories, Rhymes, Learnings, Mantras with Bluetooth/USB/Aux in-Out

We got this for our son when he was around 3.5 (For context he couldn't understand Hindi or English very well when ), he's now more than 5 but still always carries this "radio" around like a teddy bear :-D Good mix of Hindi and English content with a nice neutral Indian accent. I struggled with podcasts below 4 because the American/English accent was always a bit heavy. I'd say the stories are the strong suit, there is a pretty big collection and nice mix of Panchatantra equivalents, moral stories, Akbar-Birbal and more. Responsible for a good deal of vocabulary building for our kid. We gifted it to an NRI cousin in the family who also loved it. I thought the shlokas/mantras are very North-Indianish, and the mathematical tables are a bit too sing-song but minor issue, perhaps works better for that age group. Pretty sturdy thing as well - it has fallen down dozens of times and various pieces have chipped off but overall it still works! Vasool product.

Nice product for kids and for gift purpose

I love the concept of kids carvan however I would like to make some suggestions here as there are very few rhymes which we can listen to after that we have to use phone to connect to Bluetooth and internet too. Instead there should be a provision to add your fav songs permanently on the device. The stories, Mantras are really good. I like the voice modulations used for stories. Definitely recommend it everyone. Also love the size it's small and can carry it in my purse as well.

I received it before diwali and was a gift for my 4 year old son. He loves to listen to stories. So it was a great gift for him. Quality of sound is very good. Its small and cute with beautiful colours. The only drawback is that if you want to choose from hindi or english, there is no option. You will have to press forward or backward n number of times to get the desired language. It may be that i dont know if there is any way. However there is nothing like this with the papers received or online.

Wonderful radio with lots of nursery rhymes stored in both English and Hindi. There are also stories and educational talks. The voices are soothing and not irritating. The music is also very smooth. Radio size is handy to carry around. And it's very easy to charge. Just plug in a mobile phone charger and you're good to go.

After 15 days not working

Its a very good product as kids are easily engage with it very useful for early learning as what kids listen or see can apply on their own life…i gifted this mini carvan to my daughter as gift on her 2nd birthday till then to this day she learns many rhythms in hindi and english both and also she learns shlokas from them and i was like surprised …because of its portable nd mini size we can take it anywhere during trips so we elders also connect using wifi and enjoying music while triping.

I bought this product in Mar'22. My main purpose was to reduce screen time for the kid. It's been close to 7months, I must say that I am really surprised with the quality of the product. You may feel that it's a bit expensive but then when you start using it, you realise it's value. Battery back up is good. Sound quality is great. My kid has dropped it so many times but still no physical damage on the outer casing. They also have a good service network. Just call their toll-free number and technician will visit next day. Only thing you may have to get used to is not knowing the next song as there is no display...
