First, if you are sensitive to strong smells, don't get the scented version. It's very strong.We bought an older house with slow, smelly drains. Every time we ran the dishwasher, it smelled like the sewer was in our kitchen. The bathroom sink gruggled and drained slow, making brushing your teeth quickly an athletic sport.We tried Drain-o and that didn't help. Then I remembered how useful enzymes can be and found this product.We put this stuff down the drain three nights in a row per directions.Smell? Gone! And although the scent is strong, when it dissipated, the smell was still gone. So it isn't just masking it.Slow drain? Nope, no longer. We could run the dishwahser without inviting the sewer into our kitchen.We have tried it on a blocked drain, and it didn't help. But after we used our plumber snake to push the block out, the drain cleaner took care of the smell. I've started buying this stuff in bulk. :-)

For several years I have used Earthworm monthly on my bathroom sink and, less frequently, my shower drain, it works VERY WELL and is so easy to do.

I found the product no better than any other on the market

Just pour in a half a bottle on each side of the sink. Let it set overnight, then pour boiling water down both sides. If for some bizarre reason the hot water doesn’t drain, then let it cool and use a plunger, because you might have something lodged and needs to shaken loose. This product has a nice smell. I find it’s best to keep some on hand, so I bought a six pack, which was very economical.

Poured an entire case of this stuff over a period of over a month on a slow clog in a shower drain and it did absolutely nothing. We wound up calling a plumber to clear it, spending another $100 for the work. The clog was made up of soap and hair, exactly what Earthworm is supposed to clear.I hate giving a one star rating, but we tried and it failed.

I've used it as the bottle said, then I've also used it 8 night in a row. And it still didn't work. My household consists of 1 person, regular use of the drains.I used other brand to unclog the drain and it worked well.I do appreciate this product being safe around pets as I have 2 cats, but I'd rather lock the bathroom overnight and use another product than this as this one simply didn't work for me.Now this is my experience, and I see it has worked for other people. Hope it works for you more than me.Also if it doesn't work, you can't return it. So you are stuck with product. I had purchased pack of 6.
