Das System selbst habe ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt jedoch nicht besessen. War aber an sich kein Problem, da die Schale auch perfekt auf dem oberen Grillrost verwendet werden konnte – allerdings nicht ganz so indirekt wie mit dem ETCS. Da ich nun ein weiteres Gitter für das ETCS geschenkt bekommen habe, habe ich mir das System nun endlich zugelegt. Der Set-Preis mit 8 Spießen beträgt ca. 70 € – also wie man es von Weber kennt in der höheren Preisklasse. Allerdings ist die Montage sehr problemlos, alles in spülmaschinenfest, die Qualität der Spieße ist super (bitte nicht mit den Händen anfassen) und endlich können die Gitter und Schalen auch eingesetzt werden. Der obere Grillrost muss bei meinem Weber Spirit für die Verwendung des ETCS entfernt werden. Sollte der ETCS nicht benötigt werden, kann er schnell wieder auseinandergebaut und platzsparend verstaut werden. Das ETCS selbst muss nicht im Grill montiert werden, sondern liegt lediglich auf dem Grillrost auf – und ist dennoch stabil.
