There's an Elf in Your Book: An Interactive Christmas Book for Kids and Toddlers (Who's In Your Book?)

I wish I had a warning about this book. I got this for my preschool class but will be returning it. I am NOT going to be the one to teach the children to say "I'm a wiesenhiemer sparklebutt" . This might be funny for adults but it is not okay in the classroom where children collapse into chaos if someone says "underwear". cOMMERCIAL AND CRASS AND LACKING IN TASTE.

We love Tom Fletcher books so when I heard about this one, I knew I had to order it for my girls. His books are always funny and interactive and this one is no different. My girls loved it from the front cover all the way through to the “Nice List Certificate” in the back of the book. I’ve enclosed a few pages for reference because I often find with books you just don’t get a good enough idea about it from reviewers. Hope this helps you decide to buy this book without hesitating ❤️Also, if you haven’t read all the other Tom Fletcher books like “There’s a Monster in your Book” or “The Dinosaur that Pooped a Planet” but them all today! Or borrow them from your library if they have them because they are wonderful.

We LOVE the “There’s a ________ in your book” books but this one we could have done without. Potty humor (which some people might be into ha) and just over all not sweet/fun like the other ones. Pass....

We absolutely love this book! Heads up, it does say "butt" in it. I got one for my sister-in-law the same time I bought one for myself and she read it to her kids before mine arrived. "Butt" is a no-no word in her house. It's not really in ours so we didn't mind. Her and her kids still love the book and they just replace the word with something else.

We have the other books and love them but I could’ve gone without this one. It’s just “ok” and didn’t catch my kids’ (ages 4 and 8) attention like the others did. We read this one twice and it’s been sitting on the bookshelf since we purchased in December whereas we read the monster and dragon on once a day! It’s also not as interactive as the others I think which is disappointing. Would recommend the other two over this one!

My little one loves these book. We have There's a monster in your book and she can not get enough so naturally I got super excited about this book, I love Christmas and these books so it was a perfect combination. My little one had so much fun with is and there where lots of giggles. As a side not I bough this for my nephews as well and they could not get enough. fantastic purchase with no regrets.

I read this book to my 1st graders during Distance Learning and they loved it. It's so interactive and fun! I've read it to my grandsons also and my 4 year old grandson can't get enough.

Not bad. My son is 2 so it was a little over his head. There's a dragon. In your book was by far the best .

This is a good book but really different to the previous ones. I bought this for my 2 year old as he loves the other ones in the range, but it’s much too old for him. Where the other ones use motor skills and hand movements such as turning the book, blowing and tickling, this book is mainly focused on speaking and asks questions such as “who is the most famous reindeer” which a 2 year old can’t answer. I feel it lacks the fun and interaction the other books have and I’m really disappointed with it.

Oh my what an amazing story. We have all the tom fletcher books and this one didn't fail to impress again. Excellent for story telling and gripping their imagination. I love how interactive these books are and how you can get the kids involved with telling the story. The illustration is beautiful and all the bright colours attract little eyes.

Lovely book! Can’t wait to read this to my son in December. Highly recommend these books.

Can’t go wrong with these books. A great addition to the series. I’ve had a look through this and it looks fun. Elf on the shelf will be delivering it to my son on 1st December. The others in this series are firm favourites of his though and I expect this won’t be any different!

Great picture book to read with my 4 year old who is getting very excited for Christmas! have the other books in this series and this is our favourite!
