Neat-O Universal Polypropylene Dish Drain Board for Kitchen (Black)

It’s weird to love a dish drain tray this much, but after too many other dish mats getting slimy and gross, cracking, staining countertops and being difficult to clean, this is a dream come true! I use a metal dish drainer and it fits perfectly in this tray. The plastic is sturdy, it is smooth and super easy to clean, the drain lip easily goes over the edge of the sink. Win!

This drain board is durable and I would be completely happy with it but for one exception. This drain board sits flat on your counter top and won't drain if your sink basin's rim sits above your counter top as it lifts the front of drain board causing the water not to drain properly, If your basin is mounted from underneath the counter so it doesn't lift the front of the drain board it will work just find. I plan to attach some sort of spacer under back end of drain board to lift the back end causing water to drain as intended.

This is OK. The dish drainer I purchased didn't come with a drain board...so I was already bummed that I even had to buy one. But...OK...I can deal with that. I purchased this one...and I like it because it has a low profile (not a huge bulky lip) and it fits the drainer I bought...it's actually a little longer. I happen to like that the drain edge is on the narrow side because that's what works best in my space...which is very small. The black works fine for our decor, although doesn't match our drainer exactly (oil rubbed bronze) it still looks nice. I would have liked the drain edge to be slightly narrower but that's just because it'd fit my little space even better if it did...not a design flaw. What I do not like is that it's completely flat. And I mean completely. So the drain edge would be great...if my counter was tilted! So now I have a perfectly sized swimming pool under my new dish drainer which would quickly become a breeding ground for bacteria and other slime nasties. I poured out the standing water and measured it. It was 2/3 of a cup. That's quite a bit of liquid for a "drain" board to not drain. I wound up having to prop it up with a piece of wood to keep it from pooling and so I didn't have to dump it out every time I washed a few dishes...which is an ongoing process throughout the day! Thankfully this was not a pricey item, and if I ever have to buy another one I will now know better what features I definitely want to look for!

Large enough to hold a large dish rack. I was afraid the rack would be to big but it fits perfectly. It fits right over the edge of my sink and drains well. Would recommend this! I was afraid it would look cheap because of the price but it doesn't. It is a better quality than what I could find locally. I have a stainless rack and wanted to keep it but I couldn't find just the tray. Amazon you have done it again! You have everything I need when I look for it, no matter what I need you inevitably have it. I have almost quit going shopping because it is so much easier and convenient to look it up here and just order it. Thank you!

It needs about another inch on the side opposite the drain for it to drain properly. As it is now, it really doesn't drain. I rolled up a dish towel and inserted it under the drain board so that it would drain properly. That said, it's quite sturdy and fits perfectly with the sink.
