I am really enjoying my new Scriveiner rollerball pen. It feels good in the hand and my penmanship comes out very deliberate, not sloppy. When you write with a pen like this, because of the way it flows, you can't help but writing with your nicest handwriting. I bought blue and black ink refills, so I can't wait to see it perform both colors. I like this pen so much, that I just purchased the matching mechanical pen.Speaking of matching, the pen is so smooth to the touch with it's lacquer (I think) body and gold highlights. Very nicely put together. And the price is right. I may just get the fountain pen too

This is a revision of my original negative review which I posted because my mechanical pencil suddenly stopped working. The lead would not stay extended beyond the pencil's tip, making it useless. I was sorry to do so because I love my Scriveiner fountain and rollerball pens.Within hours, I received an apology from Scriveiner, with both a full refund and the offer of a replacement. Soon after, a friend showed me what I had been doing wrong (you need to pull out a very short lead stub before the next lead is “grabbed.”)I have let Scriveiner know the pencil is now working perfectly so the refund and replacement are no longer needed or justified. I am posting this because I am so impressed by Scriveiner’s prompt and fulsome response. They are clearly an exemplary company and their products are high quality, elegant, affordably priced and a joy to use.

I ordered the black pencil, 0.7mm, and love it. The pencil weight is perfectly balanced. This is a heavy pencil. The lead advances with a twist of the top. It is very easy to advance and retract lead.The pencil mechanism is set in such a way that it is easy to write with the full width of the lead. I tend to push hard with my pencils and this is the first pencil to tolerate the pressure with no lead breakage.I fell in love with a rollerball pen and ordered this pencil to contrast with the red.Beautiful and functional.

Good early pens!! I just wanted to say that I really enjoy both my fountain pens, roller ball pen and mechanical pencil. They are excellently designed and made. I’ve tried several fountain pens before but was never satisfied. My hand writing skills have never been all that good. But using your pens allows me to focus a little more on the actual writing. I bought this Scriveiner mechanical pencil as a gift ( I know , exhilarating ) They were impressed and intrigued and Im sure owning this pencil is cool and will be fun for years and last.The single problem I have with this gift is that there is an unsettling message typed onto a rectangular sticker on the side of the box " Made In China, Designed in London" It is easy to remove and leaves no traceThere is no eraser

My husband and I have purchased many rollerball, fountain pens, and the mechanical pencil for our personal use and for gifts. I recently purchased the Copper finish Every Day Carry fountain pen for an early Father's Day gift and it is so beautiful. He was very pleased with the gift and I might even need one to add to my collection one day instead of having to ask to borrow his. It is a more compact pen to carry, but not to write with. There is no difference in the feel when writing and we really like the fine nib that it comes with. In addition, the cap doesn't have that satisfying snap that we have come to expect with the other pens, instead, it has threads to be able to screw the lid into place, both while closed and opened. Nicely done, Scriveiner! We hope to continue business with your company for years to come.

I’ve always used mechanical pencils from cross, but I wanted to change to something new and I’m glad that I did. This pen is absolutely stunning , and the quality is excellent. I recommend 100%.
