All-Bran Buds, 17.7 oz (Pack of 4)

I've been eating this cereal for years. Nice to find it on Amazon for a good price.No need to wait for the spirit to move me! This is nuclear-fiber cereal. And it tastes better and is easier to eat than a lot of other super-high fiber cereals, even regular All Bran. Buds are Best! Not like eating cardboard or rocks.I adhere to the serving size, which is small but filling. That's great for me, because I can't eat a lot in the morning. I love it's nutritional values - all the good stuff, none of the bad stuff. I use soy milk, I add a banana or some blueberries, a boiled egg on the side for protein, and a cup of tea. Then I let the magic happen (truth be told, all you need for the magic to happen is the cereal itself).My cereal arrived when expected, which is extra important with food.Well done, Kelloggs! Keep making this cereal. Please. You'll really throw off my routine if you stop making it....

1/3 of a cup a day is all you need to change your life. I have ate this stuff daily for the past 5 years, stop taking Metamucil or any of that other stuff, all you need is 1/3 cup and drink 8-10 cups of water, your gut will thank you. Like any change in your diet, give it a few weeks before you make your decision if it's working for you, your body takes a little time to adjust.Why is this cereal the best? taste great, the little granules can be put on anything and it's the only cereal that is a mixture of wheat bran and psyllium fiber.If you are spending more than 5 minutes in the bathroom, you need more fiber, if you are not going to the bathroom once a day, you need more fiber and liquids.

I like this high-fiber cereal better than the original All Bran cereals, which are too dry and stringy for my taste. Still, I usually mix in some other kind of cereal with these, to make them more interesting.But the main reason for adding this review is that I was happy to find out a month ago that I could buy these at Amazon at a substantially lower price than the grocery store ($3.50 instead of $5.00). Except I just tried to order more and Amazon no longer seems to carry them. They are still available through third-party stores for ridiculous prices, such as $10/box (I don't see why they even bother). I am hoping they will come back!EDIT (9/16/2013): They haven't come back yet. Amazon's affiliates are charging over $7/box. Buy them on line at Walmart instead for $3.68/box.

Brand Buds is one of the few cereals that is high in fiber and somewhat low in sugar yet has a decent amount of vitamins. This is a good tasting cereal with plenty of crunch. If you like your cereal chewey,just microwave with one teaspoon of water for 30 to 40 seconds and the crunch is gone,add cold milk and enjoy!

Once upon a time, I purchased this cereal through Amazon when the price was competitive, but not now. I now purchase Bran Buds from Walmart and have for some time. The price of the same size box at Walmart is now $3.98 which reflects an increase in price just recently. It had been $3.68 for the last few years. My five stars is for the cereal itself. I find it to be tasty and if you want and or need additional fiber in your daily diet, it's a great way to start your day. I eat 1/3 cup a day (a serving) so a box lasts me 17 days,

Bought this as a substitute for Grape Nuts, it's not even close. This stuff is like dry dog food, texture, smell and taste. After two bowls I am throwing it out in the yard for the birds, if they will even eat it.

We got tired of this cereal and reverted back to the old, traditional, standby of All-Bran rather than the buds.

Hey, it's (as my son says) grownup cereal. And since you are considering buying this product, you are probably old enough to know the reason why! I like this form of All-Bran better than the shredded style. It doesn't mush out as much, yet still tastes ok. I like to mix my Buds with other cereals in the bowl for a satisfying breakfast. My local national name grocery store, the largest one of its kind in my state, never has this on the shelf when I want to buy, and they charge substantially more than Amazon when they do. It stays fresh in its sealed inner bag and box, so why not buy ahead, like I do? With free shipping, it's a complete winner.
