Got it done the way I would expect to.
Was going to upload the data for new tps into the ecu with the TS501. What a headache after 2hrs and no progress plus having to open an account, register etc! Reinstalling the card caused the unit to lock and become useless. Returned the TS501 and bought a Quickset X to do the same job in 2 mins. for my 3 autos and 2 sets of wheels. Didn't even have to update the unit. Plug & play!

Works, but should be cheaper.
Used this to reprogram my 2020 Tacoma TPMS. I use a 5 tire rotation, so I have to reprogram on each rotation to get the current setup to display. Also, the Tacoma doesn't know where each tire actually is expect when it is programmed into the ECU, so this is necessary after each tire rotation anyway, whether it be 4 or 5 tires total. Unit also worked on a 2018 Jeep I have. Simple to update and useful as a tire pressure gauge since it will read the tire pressure according to the sensors and that's what shown in the vehicle. This bypasses the different accuracy issues with gauges. I'm not saying the TPMS sensor is right or more accurate, but the vehicle believes it is accurate and that's all that matters so the TPMS light won't come on.I did contact tech support because the unit would not read an older vehicle I had (2008 Frontier), but they said it should work and the sensors were likely dead. This vehicle does have the TPMS light on and has for a while, so this is likely true.A bit expensive, but it does work and beats needing to go to the tire shop after each rotation on the Tacoma.

The QuicksetX would not read all of the sensors on my 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid
I received the tool. Charged it. Updated the software. Took it to the car.The tool could not read the RF, leading me to believe the sensor was bad.I took the car to the mechanic, who was able to read all four sensors and "relearn" the ECU.Brought the car home. Tried to read the RF sensor. Still failed.Notified Customer Service and got quick reply. Related the story. Ultimately they provided no answer except to say the batteries in the sensors can be expected to fail in 10 -12 years.Item: Local mechanic could read the sensorItem2.: QuicksetX could not read the sensor.Item3: the car can read the sensor. I've driven it several hundred miles since the relearn and the TPMS light stayed off. Conclusion: unreliable tool.Action: Returned to Amazon for refund.Purchased A THINKCAR 100. Absolutely no issues. Easy to use and read all 4 sensors easily.

Works great!
I despise that the government decided all cars need TPMS now, I am fully capable of monitoring my tire pressure and inspecting my tires, have done so for years without this nonsense. It just increases costs related to tires, car purchases and tire swap labor. That said, while spendy, this is the perfect all-in-one tool to map your TPMS sensors to your car so you can swap your wheels at home and get rid of that annoying TPMS warning message. Other brands require one tool to read the sensor serial number and another tool to map it to your vehicle. This tool does all of it.Step one is connecting to a PC to ensure the most recent software is loaded. Step 2 is to scan the new tires, step 3 is plug it into your car and upload it. My only complaint is for the price it should include a protective case. Otherwise, this is a great tool that will save us money in the long run by preventing the need to pay a dealership or tire store to map the tires when we swap summer and winter wheels.

Only reads, and maybe copies, cannot activate, or read new sensors
I got this thinking I could use it to setup new pre-programmed sensors, but another whole tool such as the AT37 is needed for that. I never got to test this, except to read the old wheels, which it did, quickly. Never tested OBD function. One button sounds like an activation signal button, but it does not activate the sensors. I ended up returning to buy an AT37.A better value for what this is supposed to would be, using Carista an OBD and your phone for $10 each swap, or an old laptop with an OBD cable and software.

Does The Job
I didn't pay full price for this tool - bought a used one for 130 bucks. It arrived quickly and was in surprisingly good condition. Tried it out on our 2 domestic vehicles, one of which had 2 bad tire sensors. This tool seems to do everything it claims to do, as long as you realize it's limitations. For DIY guys like myself, it should be adequate. But I would NEVER pay full price for this tool, it's just a basic TPMS sniffer with a couple extra add-ons. Screen is easy to read, but trying to navigate through the features is a royal pain. Very unintuitve interface, on an otherwise decent little unit. Nice rubber bumper surrounds the hard plastic case. The included quick-start handout is pretty much useless - but there are plenty of videos online that will help you out. If you can find one of these at a deep discount, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, you might find a better deal elsewhere.

Amazing little tool. Could have some improvements, though.
I am updating my review based on 6 more months of use. The device works great. It's easy to select a vehicle, read TMPS info and upload to the vehicle quickly. No software is needed until you need to upgrade DB. What I found a bit uncomfortable is the lack of physical relearn button. It's hard to get to it at first even though the joystick at the bottom is the obvious choice for the lack of anything else. Yet, how hard to add a physical button in the left bottom corner, so you don't need to find your way through the onscreen menu? Other than that the tool is amazing, even though looks cheap as other indicated.

Scans the IDs of the tire pressure sensors rapidly, ECU programming somewhat hidden
Scanning the IDs of the tire pressure sensors is well guided by the menu of the device, but the programming the ECU of the car is not.

This does what it says it will do, works pretty easy. Although components are cheaply made.
Bought this for my 2013 Honda Crosstour with TPMS and switching winter tires, worked great, my only issue was the sticker that covers the front of the unit is not stuck right and was coming lose right out of the box as for the scanner and reprogramming features it all works great and pretty easy once you do it. But it is cheaply made I paid around 200ish for it, then it went up in price don't pay more than that for it. Ultimately this saves me about 50 bucks every time I switch my tires to have my TPMS sensors reprogramed as my car only keeps one set in memory at a time.
