Great quality and fit- our kiddo wore this for a wax museum presentation (did use a long sleeve shirt underneath, and found a wig and glasses) and was quite comfortable at school.Well made enough to last if he decides to wear it for Halloween- super versatile for any revolutionary figure. Or pirate. 😆

We purchased this custom for a Faces of History presentation and this Colonial Costume for boys was exactly as presented in the description. Felt this was a great value and really like the multiple layers and pieces to the outfit. It looked wonderful on. Would recommend.

My son needed a colonial outfit for school. I was beyond impressed with the quality and amount of detail included in this costume. From the sleeve fringe to the socks. He looked amazing. Highly recommend.

I got this for my 5th grader to wear for Colonial Day at school. He is 5'4", 95 pounds, and the size 14 (which is the only size that would make it in time for Colonia Day) is a little big, but looks fine. I think the size 12 would have been perfect. The costume itself is awesome. I'm surprised it was only $40. I mean the buttons on the vest and the jacket actually work! The costume comes with socks which is the reason I dinged this one start. It's not the company's fault, but I bought a used item (so it would come on time) and when it did I discovered the socks were dingy meaning someone had used this and then returned it. How low can you go? My mom works at Macy's and every prom season people do the same thing, I just can't believe it's gotten so bad people can't afford to hold onto a $40 costume. Anyway, great costume, socks are like thin stockings (but maybe that's period correct), and looks way more expensive than it was.

This costume is well made and the wrinkles from shipping steamed right out. This was for a 5th grade project, our girl is 80lbs and we got the xl, she'll be a pirate for Halloween with a few tweaks.

I'll try to post a photo when I get a chance. I seldom write reviews, but in this case, the seller really deserved one. I anticipated a thin, cheaply made outfit which is typical for kids costumes, but that was not the case. The coat and vest are great, nice detail, nice heavy brass looking buttons. My son is 7, about 49" tall, 52 lbs. Everything fit well except for the hat, it was too tight. But the hat was the only thing I needed to do any work on. I sliced the band and sewed in a small piece of material to make it fit, and also needed to hit it with some spray on fabric stiffener from the craft shop to get it to hold it's shape. I was going to sew a cravat because I didn't think he'd want to wear the lace neck piece, but it looked so good with the costume he agreed to it. All in all, it turned him into a great looking Paul Revere for his class project.

School performance needed costume for colonial era and this fit the bill. Good quality and good fit.

Impressed with the quality and price. Had everything we needed for a child's social studies project.
