I just used these on a birthday cake and they were beautiful! Each number has a plain gold shiny crown shape on the top of it. The glittery crowns are stickers that you can attach to the number or not, as you prefer. You have to peel off the back of the glittery crown to expose the adhesive back and then attach it over top of the number’s plain crown area, if you want to add that glittery crown accent. I did that and they looked beautiful! The “Happy Birthday” is a bit small, but that works perfectly when you combine it with the numbers, because the numbers themselves are pretty big.These are sturdy and well made. This is an attractive set of gold cake toppers. The "Happy Birthday" and "7-0" ones looked great on my husband's 70th Birthday german chocolate cake. The plastic toppers are sturdy, look nice, and can easily be wiped off and reused. The only problem is that most of the little sparkly crowns on top of the numbers had come loose and needed to be re-glued in place. It was a quick and simple solution to use a little Elmers to fix the crowns in place, but I took a number off the "Sturdiness" rating because it was necessary to fix them.

Product is made of plastic? (acrylic) that is reusable. Only odd thing I find is the shiny (mirror like) side of the letters are on the back side (with peel off blue sticky protector). So if you're expecting the yellow side to be the front side then it works great. Just the mirrored back doesn't seem to meet any particular purpose.

The store bought cake I ordered needed a little jazzing up so I got these decorations and they turned out really nicely. My son is obsessed with the movie Soul and this is what we came up with. Great buy! Just be careful, they are a little delicate when unpacking, but once they are in the cake, they are good to go. Plus, it’s a full set with all numbers you may need so I’ll be reusing these every chance I get!

The sign and numbers really spruce up a birthday cake. They are adorable. I was very impressed with how well packaged they were.
