What a bargain!
So I wanted to create a wifi network upstairs connected to our ISP internet router downstairs (via a mains socket ethernet extension adapter (it uses the mains wiring to extend your ethernet cable, pretty amazing))Now I had a couple of quite expensive old wifi routers (about 10 year old) which worked well back then but had been in storage for about 5 years, so I thought I'd try them, and although both worked the signal was terrible compared to latest wifi standards and both routers regularly crashed after a few minutes if more than one wifi device connected. So I looked at what was available on the market now and was quite surprised to see this highly rated device at just over £10! I was not very confident that it would be any good, but at that price might as well give it a go.And wow, it works brilliantly! I get the full 300mps connection with my newest laptop and phone, and well over 100mps with older tablets and an older laptop. And after over 12 hours continual use with streaming services, gaming, gigabytes of updates it hasn't crashed once and is not even warm to touch. What a bargain, a low power device (the adapter is rated at just 3 watts (5V at 0.6A)) that works flawlessly and far far better than my older power hungry routers which cost 5-10 times as much.(Btw I connected the ethernet cable from the mains socket network extender to the yellow WAN port, and in the set-up web page selected dynamic ip as the connection type (since my BT router is a dhcp server for the internal network))

cheap and efficient.
Used as wifi AP for the garden. It works really well. I'm not sure how much traffic this would handle as a main router but for the price, it's excellent.

Perfect product for students
As I am living in student accommodation, I have multiple machines to connect to the network, this product provides exactly what I want. It is fast and stable. The only weakness is that the signal can barely go through three walls. For those who want to use the wifi through walls, you better need a wifi 6 product.
