Artworx Calligraphy Pen Set - With Guide Book and Practice Paper

Great writing pens I love the way the ink flows to do my calligraphy when I write I am in the zoon it feels like meditation so beautifully crafted. I recommend this product to who needs it.

It has been a few years since I have dabbled with calligraphy and thought I would visit this activity again. I went for an 'economic' kit just in case I changed my mind. I am delighted with this kit. It is of good quality and the choice of pens and pen nibs, as well as a range of coloured inks is really good. Fantastic value for money. It arrived promptly and sensibly wrapped. Really, really pleased. Can definitely recommend.

Great set a little confusing inserting the ink…you have to push really hard. but worked quite well however didn’t come with any exercise to do.

This is a lovely pen set. Easy to use, an instruction book, which has lots of good tips on how to make your writing beautiful, and a lined book to help you get your writing at the correct angle. There are four pens, so you can have various colours on the go at once to make illuminations without having to switch cartridges all the time. I would recommend this pen set to all stages of handwiters.

I absolutely love this set. The pens are comfortable and stylish to use. I bought these for work purposes as I write out attendance certificates. The inks are lovely and so far no blotting or splashes of ink whilst using them. A great product for a great price.

I bought this with the aim of learning calligraphy, as it claims to be a beginner's set with guides. I was expecting an exercise book with examples to copy to learn the various strokes and techniques. Instead the exercise book is blank- just lined on one side, see photo- and the instructions are inadequate, don't really explain how to form the letters- the entirety of the instructions is in the above photos, and as you can see, doesn't even include a complete alphabet of capital letters. The majority of it is these pages in other languages. I purchased a downloadable exercise guide sheet from another site and learned some basics, but I have no idea how to do the lettering shown on the front of the provided books with the set, which seems very misleading to me. However I'm rating three stars for two reasons: first, I was able to produce some fancy looking lettering after learning from the guide bought separately (see photo along with nibs used for each set), and second, my cousin who is experienced in caligraphy had a go with them and said they were quite nice. I also bought some ink from a well known fancy pen manufacturer to utilise the refillable cartridge- the blue black colour pictured here isn't included in the kit. Unfortunately whether user error or poor manufacture (the instructions are for a pump- the provided thing doesn't squeeze it twists)- I did end up covered in ink and ruined a pair of trousers and got a spot of it on the sofa- so beware and use with caution! Overall disappointing that a set labelled for beginners really doesn't give you any clear instructions or support.

Delighted with the pen set bought and lovely inks, in their own tin. Books were underneath main part so found and very helpful. Delivered promptly and a lovely addition to my new hobby. Well worth the cost.

Love the different tip sizes and the options for ink. Would love to see a tracing sheet to work on the fonts, rather than just trying to copy the font over. Seems counter intuitive for a learner to start writing calligraphy.

I’m enjoying these so much. The ink flow is perfect. As a teenager I was fascinated with calligraphy. I’m finding I love it just as much as an adult. Excellent value. They would definitely be a great gift for any age.

I purchased this pen set to go with a beginner lettering book. It comes as pictured in a lovely tin. The pens and nibs are good quality, and there are numerous ink cartridges in a variety of colors. There’s also an instruction booklet. This set is definitely a great value

Purchased this because the price was right. I’m new to calligraphy and I don’t have much to compare with but I’ve been super happy with the purchase. The pens are great, the 1.0 size seems to be my preference. I love the practice paper with the lines. It is thick and you can feel the difference compared to regular paper. The only complaint I have is that the instructional booklet is all in German…so that wasn’t helpful for me 🤪
