These adapters are great. The quality is nice, and worked with a perfect fit on some NVX x-series 6x9s. No modifications required to work with those speakers. Very easy install also. Everything lined up like factory. The only think I didn’t care for was they came in one bag stacked together. They could get scraps chef or a tab could get broken. But for the price, you can’t complain.If you have an e36 and stock 4” in the rears, get these adapters! I used the NVX x-series 6x9 two ways and I wired them like factory to the 4 pin connector. The Sound is pretty impressive now with a stock amp and front speakers.Can’t wait to redo the front speakers and amp!

Thought it would rattle or feel cheap but these actually work perfect. They do affect the sound a little but I am sitting at the front so it doesn’t make a very big difference. You don’t need to drill anything out if you just use two mounting holes it will still hold fine. Plastic is a little soft so don’t screw into it too tight.

Like: ;Good fit, easy to install.Dislike: the mounting screws from stock no longer fits and the speaker mounts also have different size screws. I had to run to the hardware store to buy mounting screws.Had the brackets come with the mounting screws, this would easily be a 5-star product.

These adapters are well made and fit perfectly in the stock locations. Honestly, this is the simplest way to upgrade the sound in your E36

Workd excellent to upgrade the speakers on my 1995 E36 Coupe to 6x9s. So glad somebody invented these so I could replace the tiny stock speakers.

It's really simple, an item which helps you to attach your speakers to a retard service like what we have in our E36 .. but this Adaptor is great and does the trick.
