I had the previous version and it didnt work so well without modification, but this new version works great. It will hold them either by the plastic knuckle guard, or by the cloth hand strap whichever you prefer and still keep it just above table height. If you're looking for a more affordable simple stand this is it.

I was looking for a better way to store my valve index and this fit the bill very nicely. It has a small footprint and the visor and controllers fit perfectly. Accessories are very scarce for this unit and this was the perfect companion.

Was concerned about the plastic construction, but it held up for a long time

This stand is totally balanced, sturdy and won't fall over like some of the videos you see.The key is putting the headset on the cradle correctly and it shifts the weight to the back. Most of the bad reviews/viedos don't have the strap down where it should be in the back, and it makes everything front heavy.It also fits the index controllers great too and has no issues with them hitting the table. I do wish it came with a cheap universal lens cover or something to wrap the cable around, but that's easy enough to make.It's totally worth buying if you want to keep your headset safe.

Very easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy. Holds my headset and two Index controllers pretty well and the base is solid so I'm not worried about it tipping. Not a bad idea to keep your equipment from accumulating dust on surface tops.

I bought this stand because I recently got into VR and needed a way to protect my headset rather than just having it sitting on my desk. The item came in a nice package and disassembled. The setup was easy it was nice that it included 2 controller arms. For the price, I would recommend this product to anyone with a VR headset to avoid having it get scuffed or damaged.

I bought this stand for my Index, and I was shocked to see the incredible amount of combinations, and instructions for each. You could definitely use this for any headset

Even though this product is advertised as being for the Valve Index, what ends up arriving is a sort of universal VR stand that (funnily enough) doesn't list the Index as any of its supported platforms. That said, it does still support the Index in practice, so don't worry. Everything holds up great, worth the purchase. Much preferable to having random bits of VR gear strewn about the room.
