This picked up so much more dust, etc. that I had to empty the bin twice during its run (which just shows how much my last replacement kit was missing). I would assume the design of the brush and rubber fins on the roller makes the difference. One note... the nub wheels on the side of the roller don't come off - which is good and bad. 1. They can't fall off. 2. hair wraps around and it is somewhat hard to clear off. This is not a dealbreaker.
